A few notable PB&J finds in Los Angeles.
Updated: April 12, 2010
Executive Chef Joseph Panarallo and Pasty Chef Jose Detes created a special PB&J dessert together at this sceney new spot on Sunset. Picture a creamy peanut butter mouse topped with strawberry sorbet on top (dish pictured above). A housemade berry coulis sauce drizzled on the side is the proverbial icing on the cake for one of our top new desserts in town.
This small Hollywood hideaway (attached to and affiliated with Playhouse nightclub) serves up a gooey and delicious grilled PB&J stuffed with caramelized bananas for just $6.50. Served with fries (!) and on white bread, naturally.
While not technically a sandwich, we are including Joan's PB&J treat because it's just that good. Gooey peanut mixed with a micro-thin layer of raspberry jam and chopped peanuts all conspire to win over your tastebuds with this new twist on the old-school favorite.
