Look here for the latest and greatest places to get beautiful in Los Angeles.
This third outpost of the popular Bellacures nail salon is where to go for a clean and proper manicure. Prepackaged tools for every customer means no need to worry about getting someone else's germs. Services range from basic $20 manis to gelicures, waxing, kid-i-cures and tons of add-ons.
This new salon at the swanky Montage hotel is where to go for killer highlights from Kim Vo, "Colorist to the Stars." (Or at least one of his stylists.) Focusing on coloring, conditioning and reconstructing hair, prices range from $150 for women's cut ($85 for men) to $350 for color correction.
In a hurry to get to that party but don't have time to go home after work? Freshen up at this Brentwood spot for $18 (light touch-up) to a full-on airbrush and false eyelashes for $60. Thre's also an adjacent Bubble blow-out bar so you can get your hair done, too. Even better, there are loads of cute gift items for purchase, perfect if you're on your way to a party and have no time for a shop stop.
California's first outpost of the popular New York nail spa chain has made its way to Pasadena with this bright spot that offers the famed free cosmo with any service on Thursdays and Fridays. Manis start at just $15.
Why didn't we think of that? When you're pressed for time but don't want to your hair to look as frayed as your nerves, stop by this blow-out-only salon for a mane that's clean, bouncy and full of life. (Just like you want to be.) Best of all, it's only $35 a pop.
The eyes have it. If you're too afraid (smart?) to go all the way with pharmaceutical eyelash-growth treatments, then play it safe at this salon that offers deliciously long faux lashes that attach to yours and last 6-8 weeks with proper care.
Who says girls just want to have fun? Guys are just as needy. This retro-modern WeHo salon is where dudes can get everything from a wet shave and beard trim to haircut and style from a Steven Alan-clad staff.
This expansive spa might be a bit of a drive from LA proper (hey, it's still in the same county), but it'll make your treatment all the more rewarding. Located inside the new Miyako Hybrid hotel, this is the first US spa to offer Japanese "ganban-yoku"--a traditional bedrock bath made from ore mined from the mountains of Kyushu.
