Sip at the chic poolside lounge atop this hip downtown hotel. Pool use is free--if you can get past the Roof Bar's velvet rope.
Get away to this tropical hideaway with revamped poolside cabanas and "smart" chaise lounges. A prime spot for four starts at $175 and includes fresh fruit, water and use of the pool. Or, just order some light fare from the outdoor Backyard restaurant and use the pool for free.
Poolside cabanas provided Katharine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Howard Hughes with shade and discretion. Hotel guests can rent proximity to fame for $175 a day.
Life's a beach at this swanky boutique retreat. If you don't mind hanging among sceney types, consider renting one of the cabanas during the day for $250. Once the sun goes down, that same spot will cost you $500-$750 (but at least you'll have bottle service and all-juice mixers).
Work your magic at the door for Skybar (or book a room at the hotel) and you'll discover the small, sceney pool area still offers some of the best views and people-watching in town.
