WARNING!! Thievery from hotel staff..
Checked a business colleague in on Oct. 2nd and presented my company credit card for "incidentals". Reception staff stepped away and came back and entered the credit card information manually as they said they were having trouble swiping the card. Within two hours my card was fraudulently charged over $1,000 in merchandise from an APPLE, Nike and sporting goods store. I've had to cancel my card and contest the charges. A great hassle.
Will never book any of my colleagues there again.

Really, overall, it was a fine room, esp for the price.
Had some "reservations" of our own after reading online reviews, but Chamber of Commerce said it was a fine hotel.
We thought so as well and we will stay there again when in area.
We were impressed with housekeepers--they did a great job. We'll see you again in West Hollywood one of these days.
Feels like our home away from home.. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our every request - paper bag snacks, yummy breakfasts with Andy and his crew, full access to the meeting room, providing towels for the boys to go swimming, collecting emails/faxes and passing them on to us - the list is endless and every day we were greeted with big cheery smiles from all Ramada Staff! Andy provided us with such delicious food to start our days – what fun the kids had. After 4 years visiting, for me to walk into the Ramada is like coming home.
Excellent!. My stay at the Ramada Plaza was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was fantastic. Will definitely stay here again, and will also recommend to others. A great stay.
A very enjoyable stay.. Christian at the Front Desk was friendly and very welcoming upon check-in. I was impressed that he recalled my earlier (and very first) stay in May 2010. Having worked in the Hospitality industry for many years, it is my professional opinion that he is an asset to this hotel. I wish they would upgrade their "high speed" internet service. Much. Too. Slow. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay.
I would definitely come back. On the positive side, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. One of the clerks typed up some notes for me because I didn't have a computer and couldn't fax my illegible, handwritten notes. That favor was way above any service I'd ever received in any hotel in the world. If I remember correctly, her name was Christina. For her and the entire front desk staff alone, I would definitely come back to this hotel. They were all helpful, friendly and super kind. Their professionalism was beyond any I've ever experienced. I was dissatisfied with the parking arrangements. There was no entrance directly from the garage into the hotel. I had to seek out stairways, wind my way down step stairs and exit into the first floor parking area in order to get into the hotel. In addition to this inconvenience, I paid $27/day which was over 25% of my daily rate for my room. That's outgrageous. The other negative was that my room had a bad smell in it. Not sure what it was, staleness or muskiness, but noticably bad.
We stay here every year. We travel to L.A. each year and stay at Ramada Plaza, West Hollywood and have watched the renovations progress. It looks great now and is good value for money. We will continue to stay and recommend the hotel to friends and associates. I only wish they would provide a guest services directory in each room. There was not one in either of the rooms I booked this trip. The guest laundry requires 28 quarters to wash and dry a load of laundry, so make sure you have plenty of quarters if you plan to do any laundry.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in.. The hotel was great and the staff at check-in were helpful and friendly. However, the cleaners were often very noisy in the morning, making sleep difficult. In addition check-out was slow and the concierge was not very helpful. Overall though, this hotel was one of the best encountered during my 3 week vacation.
Staff was extremely helpful. All of the Front Desk Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The only reason I didn't give a perfect rating to the overall experience was the parking charge. I think it is way too high. I know that is prime parking, however, hotel guests should get a break...or at least offer it at a lower cost.
Excellent concierge. Jose was excellent, very friendly and extremely informative. Worth his weight in gold. Only thing I would recommend is stocking Tap cards for public transport etc and or bus maps. As alot of tourists most likely stay in this hotel their ability to get information about public transport is important.
