Editorial Review for H Lorenzo Women – by Nina Emkin
In Short
This sexy, edgy shop embodies the magic of Sunset Boulevard: Clothes so alluring, shoppers abide the hefty price tags. The boutique's offerings include candy-colored polo shirts and embroidered miniskirts from DSquared, slim pencil skirts and low-cut tanks by Versace, super-slim denim by J Brand and silky, avant-garde evening gowns by Ann Demuelemeester. There are also sultry Cosabella bikinis and lingerie, outrageously glam Rene Caovilla stilettos and mind-bogglingly decadent Loree Rodkin snakeskin totes.

I was shopping on Sunset in Los Angeles and strolled into H. Lorenzo. Most of the clothing is a bit pricy but fits the stores image as its definatley one of the most contemporary, trendy stores in teh area. I love seeing higher end designer labels that aren't carried at all the department stores so you can find unique products that not all of your friends have. I ended up buying several pairs of T Santiago lingerie from the store which I haven't seen in many boutiques. The lingerie patterns are so original and it is even water-proof and sweat absorbent so I wear them ALL THE TIME to the beach and to the gym. I checked out their website and they are one of the more popular brands in South America and I'm happy that I came across such a great product. They also had really nice dresses and some cute accessories that I will have to go back and get for my next visit.
Pros: hot, new labels like T Santiago
Cons: big price tags

Only in LA do you have retail people who think that you should be lucky to be in their store. You work in RETAIL by the way not a museum. The people that work here are rude and snotty and don't care if you're A CUSTOMER wanting to buy something! I actually walked out, said f this and went down the street to buy similar boots at BCBG because they're actually gracious, nice and helpful. Places like this gives LA that sometimes well deserved sterotype. There are plenty of better places in LA you can go and actually have the sales people be happy you're in their store.
Pros: parking
Cons: service ruins it all
