The Scene – A sultry, glamorous vibe envelops shoppers when they enter this popular clothing boutique in Sunset Plaza. Plush couches, leopard-print carpeting and burning candles set the mood as an in-house manicurist caters to the oh-so-pampered clientele. Framed photos of Madonna and child, Jennifer Lopez and Stella McCartney add to the celeb-worship ethos of this West Hollywood fashion haven. – – The Goods – Luxurious pieces by Roland Mouret, Derek Lam and Chloe share the racks with embellished Antik Batik tunics, Sass and Bide denim and cozy Inhabit sweaters. Best boutique in town
by Harmony1120
There just isn't any boutique in L.A. better than this one. Want to own everything in the store. Simply the best. Period.
- Pros: One stop shop boutique - always find the perfect piece
AMAZING clothes and accessories - absolute best "boutique" in L.A.!, bar none!!

THE BEST IN TOWN!!! The name is always associated with the hippest and coolest clothes, and I've read about Tracey Ross in plenty of magazines and fashion sections, but for some crazy reason, I had never been in the store until this week. My boyfriend went in recently to buy me something and Tracey actually helped him pick out an amazing outfit. So... I went in for myself. Wow! Tracey's store is without a doubt the hippest and grooviest in L.A. - and believe me, I know my stores. There is a reason why Tracey Ross is known as the fashion go-to girl and why so many fantastic designers credit her with "discovering" them. The girl has it going on! Incredible one-of-a-kind eclectic collection. Not your usual department store grind. Tracey was amazingly friendly, and she and another salesgirl were so warm and treated me like an old girlfriend - a welcome change from those snobby Beverly Hills "do it yourself" boutiques or the chaos of a department store. They showed me things that worked for me, and that worked my assets, not just items that would make them a sale. I can't say enough good things about this place. I am a true new fan and plan to shop here A LOT! Now I know why Tracey Ross gets all the terrific press she does and why celebrities shop here. But it's also for the rest of us, too. They also have some incredible pieces and gifts other than clothes. But then again... THE CLOTHES! I want them all! Did I mention the shoes???!! Really, gals - a not to miss experience if you really dig great stuff that you won't see anywhere else. I recommend you check it out and see for yourself.
What's All The Fuss About?

This store is dark, the clothes are all crammed into a few small racks and I just felt like I couldn't tell what I was looking at and it distracted me. I am sure I am not the typical customer here, because I wasn't about to pay these prices. But after reading Steve Lopez column in the LA Times about the Beverly Hills stores on Rodeo and the stuff rich people buy, I guess somebody wants to shop here. Maybe I missed something, but it isn't any great shakes.
- Cons: Maybe you get what you pay for? I mean, these are just clothes....
If you're like Carrie Bradshaw....

... then you'll like this store. I was told that the salespeople here are rude, but when I stopped by they were nice. The store itself is dimly lit, which is a bit of a departure for most boutiques. The selection of designers is impressive --everyone from Stella McCartney to Anna Sui to Y3. The prices can be equally phenomenal, so if you're not in the market for a $100+ tank top, you might wanna head across the street to H&M.
- Pros: Great designers
- Cons: Will cost you a mini-fortune
Love the clothes!

I walked by this little shop many times, on my way to work and just loved the outfits on display...I finally went in one day and although the prices will never fit my budget, I expected them to be this high, it is Sunset by the way....yet, the people that work there are nice and friendly...the clothes cute and modern, some very elegant without trying too hard...
- Pros: nice pieces
- Cons: a bit pricey for the low-income
