So many restaurants to choose from in West Hollywood, but if you want a little of everything this is the only one. I pick for a quiet dinner date; a brunch place with a group of friends; or even a solo Sunday morning breakfast. The menu has many of your favorite staples, and the kitchen is flexible to suit your variations. The decor is not my style, but it fits with the name!

Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere

Cons: Decor

I come into LA from Las Vegas, on business several times a year, and Cafe D'etoile has always been my afternoon refuge. Over the years, D'etoile has changed little (it's definitely a small space - very French), it remains a most convivial place to eat a excellent meal, have a great drink, and spend a fine afternoon's or evening's repast in genial conversation. For West Hollywood, this is as good as it get's for the boulevardier. One of the things that is so nice, is the wide mix of clientele that frequent the cafe, giving it a casual, yet exciting, feel. This is definately a place where the gentleman can enjoy the afternoon, before he goes on to the heavier duties of his evening.

Pros: Ambience, Service, Food, Drink, Conversation

Cons: small bar space
