Gay Bar. I was shocked about gay thingy attached to the place, but changed my mind quite fast. Great overall feeling, various drinks, and comfortable to stay a while. I hope I'll find myself on Abbey' s door steps again. Cheers!

Perfect for a sunny day in Southern Cali.... A great place to bring any friends on a sunny Sunday afternoon. (I had to pick SOMEWHERE for a first review on this website... might as well be the Abbey...). Now excuse me while I go back to lacking a social life on a Friday night.

Great Food...Great Atmosphere. I took my mom with me the first time I ate here and we were both impressed with the food, the service and the atmosphere. The hot tuna sandwich was amazing and mom cleaned her bowl of shrimp alfredo! Will definitely recommend to friends!

An All Day Affair. The versatility of the Abbey is one of its best assets - where else can you go to enjoy a nice and quiet breakfast in the sun, and then later in the night go out dancing and drinking? But don't think that their mojitos are the only thing worth getting (though they are quite delicious), their food aint so bad, either. They serve a typical American menu with typical American portions (huge), along with amazingly delicious deserts from Sweet Lady Jane.

Pretentious, obnoxious, and superficial. I love the old coffee-house Abbey when staff and patrons were themselves, unique, self-secure, polite, friendly, and cordially beautiful people. That was then...Now, it's filled with entertainer-wannabes, all mingling around, trying desperately to be somebody else, to look 'hot', to compete for attention, to check and be checked out by their clones, while hoping they will attract the real deals by the end of the night. And I am not just talking about the patrons. The attitude of the bartenders also make my head spins.

The crowd bored me to tears. Sorry!!

Great Music and Drinks. The Dj is great on weekends and the bartender Armando makes the best drinks in the house
