Penne AllaToscana is the ONLY dish I get. It has a kick and not too creamy!

Check It Out "Dre". The lamb shank was the absolute best. They make a great vodka martini. And Lindsey the hostess was terrific!

Its all about location. I can only say if you are looking for a good meal this is not the place. If you are impressed with the French owner and the LA scene and bad food then get going at once.

If this restaurant was located in any other location in LA it would be out of business.

Take my work for it..there is no need to tell a story. If you like fresh food that is prepared in house this is not the place.

great food and great patio on Sunset!. I go there maybe 5-10 times a month for lunch and sometimes for dinner! I love their menu as well as watching the exotic cars on sunset!

If you want to be seen, or see, come here. La Petit Four seems to be overrated. Although the food and service was great, I felt like people dining there were only doing so to flaunt the fact that they were dining in a notorious place.

Over Rated by far.... Besides the waitstaff (yes, our dear server girls) walking out of the restrooms without washing their hands and heading straight for the kitchen to bring out food to customers, the ladies room is pretty messy most time.. Service time is not bad at all... Drinks and appetizers are brought out fairly fast.. Also, the bus boys are great... Only problem I've had with this place is watching several of Waitstaff, go in and out of the restroom without washing their hands and watching them come up to bring out a dish to customers... yuck.. alkaline bacteria...

anyway, i'd consider Cafe Med or Clafouitise much better..

ciao

Best Everything!. My husband and I are from New Haven, CT and we travel to the West Hollywood area 2-4 times per year. Our first stop on every trip is Le Petit Four for lunch. We marvel in the sites & sounds of the Sunset Strip either soaking up the sun or under an umbrella. We have have never had a meal, drink or server that failed to impress us!

I love this place!. I've been to Le Petit Four countless times. It is consistently good in both food and service and I've never had to wait for a table, despite the fact that it is pretty much always busy. Seating can sometimes get cramped when they are very full, but people mostly keep to themselves. Parking is also pretty easy, even though Sunset is a busy place, I've always been able to find street parking near the restaurant. The food is also good and reasonably priced for being in such a busy and trendy area of L.A.. (The only problem I've ever had with this place though is there was a hair in my Parmesan cheese once!)

Disappointing for a restaurant on Sunset. From my own experience and from reading other reviews, it seems like this place just doesn't have good chicken dishes. My chicken parmesan was dry and over-seasoned; my French fries also had too much salt on them. I probably should've gone with one of the pasta dishes, which my friends seemed to have no problem with. The service was adequate although the waitress seemed completely detached and disinterested. She didn't have to be all bubbly, but she could've at least said "you're welcome" when we thanked her for bringing our food, refilling our drinks, etc. instead of just walking away. I personally would rather sit inside the restaurant, which has admittedly lovely decor, than by the sidewalk where people are allowed to smoke. I'm sure my food would have tasted worse if I'd been inhaling cigarette smoke at the same time.

Frozen food on a plate. Like all the restaurants on Sunset Plaza, this joint does not impress -- at least not with the food. That said, it's better than the other restos on this stretch (and that's not saying much). I've eaten here a few times and while the sidewalk seating & people-watching are fantastic, the fare is really not much better than fair. Stuff tastes like it was frozen, then thawed, then put on your plate without much effort or care. The prices would suggest otherwise, but whatever. It's good for out-of-town guests who want 'a scene' but if you want really good food, dont do Sunset Plaza -- they must all get their stuff from the same supplier.
