always ready door staff, favorite club, loved pole dancers, great dancing, always great weho halloween carnaval, poor management, not like crowd
best club ever with the best music !!!!!!!. Love this place! Much better than the Abbey...alot classier. Don't get me wrong! This place is so much fun!! Great new look and amazing staff, drinks are average priced. The most important reason why I like this place are the go-go boys... yummmmm! And they are VERY comfortable with themselves and in no way are they shy. Basically, if you are around the bars in the area and just isn't time for you to leave... this is the place to be! =)
Holy Mother of Go-Go Boys. This is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest place EVER! Hot go-go boyz, not sleazy at all, and reasonable drink prices. Upstairs is nice for talking with friends, enjoying the night. If you want to see real West Hollywood, Micky's is the place to go.
Ok, but not as good as it used to be.
After visiting Micky's for the first time in four years Saturday night, and after visiting some of the other clubs in the area recently, I'm wondering if the clubs in the "gay strip" of WeHo have lost their touch.
I would say that the worst thing about Micky's this particular nite was the music. It was so boring and monotonous and annoyingly tiresome to hear that I had to leave the club temporarily to take a breather.
The people at this club are ok, but they seem to have that typical attitude that is found in so many of the gay clubs in this area. There was very little spontaneous interaction amongst the patrons here.
My experience here was better than the one I had at Rage a couple weeks ago, but that's not saying much.
Overall, this was just another WeHo gay club experience with nothing new, different or unique about it . The dancers were good though, and the bartenders do a good job of pleasing the patrons.
I walked away from this place with a greater appreciation for the gay clubs in Orange County, which I've been frequenting for the past few years. I never thought that the gay clubs in OC would surpass those in WeHo, but in many cases they have. If you compare the Club Lucky events at The House of Blues in Downtown Disney with a place like Micky's or Rage, the difference is pretty striking. The Club Lucky events at HOB at Disney are more entertaining overall, the music is much better (the DJ Zach Moos is really good), they have hot go-go dancers and performers, tthere's less attitude amongst the gays in Orange County, there's more spontaneous interaction amongst the patrons, the setting and location is great, and those events have a uniqueness I haven't found at the clubs on the gay strip in WeHo.
Club Lucky also has Lucky Sundays at RED in Newport Beach, and those events are also better than my recent experiences in WeHo (except for the WeHo Halloween Carnaval, which is always great).
I haven't updated myself on all of the gays clubs in Hollywood yet, but currently the only one I still like is Tigerheat.
But to be fair, I went to Micky's on a Saturday nite, and maybe it's better on other nights.
Definitely not closed now!. Micky's recently re-opened after a fire. It is as popular as ever with a friendly crowd, and best known for it's many go-go boys. Love Latin night, which is on Thursdays.

Great evening place in West Hollywood. With the social patrons, great music, go-go boys, excellent bartender service, and front outside smoking area, this is definitely a place to check out.
Friendly and fun.
I tend to hang out at this gay Weho staple on Saturdays early in the day, so this isn't your standard party-time review. During my times there, early as they may be, I do have a lot of fun. The staff is friendly and always ready to talk it up. The food is really good for "bar food" too. Drink prices are LA in so much as they aren't cheap, but at 4 the happy hour starts and if you're willing to go with draft, it's not so bad. Sometime around 6 or 7pm, the dancers show up, and at that time of day, there's not much competition for attention so even they warm up to conversation.
All in all, a fun gay hangout.
Fun and friendly with an Asian feel. This place is sweet. Has WeHo gotten nicer or do I just not care anymore? Who knows. But everyone here is having a good time and the waiters are cute and approachable. They'll talk if you start it or leave you alone if you don't. Nice mix of ages and types including plenty of Asian guys. Easy to meet, greet and enjoy here. Best in WeHo.
Busy neighborhood dance bar. Micky's seems to be getting more busy in the past year, surpassing the nearby Rage that used to always be the busier club. Different themes every night, so check before going or you may not like the crowd that night. Very Asian for some reason on some nights although it is not an Asian club. Dance floor is small by big city standards. Music tends to be typical gay hi-NRG pop.
