In Short
The club itself has the potential to be intimate, but the acts that play this legendary spot in Hollywood are far too wild to keep things quiet--especially not with one of the best sound systems on the Sunset Strip. Floor-level and raised standing area (with some occasional seats), a spacious dance floor/mosh pit, and a bar loaded for beer all add up to an authentic Hollywood experience. Eclectic to the max.

This club is ok but not my type. They have some very interesting concerts here and there, but it is always supercrowded and dark and supernoisy. So if at 25 do not mind a bunch of people smooshed into you, when you get a bit older you probably will, so I recommended for the young at heart.

The Roxy is a very happenin joint in town. All of the upcoming bands play here. The tickets are not expensive at all. If you are lucky you will see a band you may even know. Its a cute little hole in the wall place right off the strip.
