Great Salon!

charming salon with a terrific group of talented stylists. Everyone is super accommodating. It has a great atmosphere and is reasonably priced. Eva is outstanding with color and cuts.

Best hair salon for color and cut!

I cannot say enough great things about Sarah Hammel as far as a colorist. She truly is so talented with an eye for perfection. My hair has never looked better! I have very longthinck hair and am very picky! She knows what she is doing and it shows. I get endless compliments. I have my mother come to her from the midwest, and I am even having my girlfriend from Australia get her hair done with Sarah when she flies into town next month!
As far as styling, Caile is amazing. He truly knows how to cut hair for it to grow. He has amazing style himself and listens to his clients and what they want. I have never been unhappy leaving the salon after a cut or style. And he is a master blow dryer! I have Caile style me any time I have a big event or weekend planned. My hair always looks amazing after leaving the salon and days later! With Sarah and Caile as my colorist and stylist, I feel that I have the BEST team possible and highly recommend them to anyone!

RUN, do not walk, to see DJ!

I've never received more compliments on my hair than i do after David John ("DJ") started cutting/highlighting my hair.
I went to several pricey salons in LA before I was introduced to DJ 3 years ago and have never looked back. His cuts grow out really well and are easy to maintain. The color is subtle and very natural looking (a MUST for me). He'll challenge you to try new things but always listens to what you want. He's also just FUN. You walk out looking and feeling like a million bucks! Sure it's not cheap but I think it's truly value for the money. The adage you get what you pay for is certainly true here. DJ IS WORTH EVERY CENT. The fact that everyone I've sent to him sticks with him - in a town filled with stylists! - is very telling. If you want your hair to look better than ever, run do not walk to see David John!
An additional bonus: have Janice do your makeup and brows while you are there. You won't regret it.

DJ is the best ever....

If you are looking for an exceptional haircut and color experience...DJ is your man. In my opinion, trying to find someone to give you perfect blond highlights is essentially close to impossible. I have never received more compliments about my hair since starting to see DJ 5 years ago...and many times people are shocked to know that I have highlights because they are so beautiful and natural. A few years ago i moved from LA to San Francisco and after attempting to find a great hair experience and not being satisfied...I now fly down to see DJ on a regular basis and it is well worth it. I love DJ and you will too!

If you really want to get what you envisioned go to Rachel Carney!!! I've been dying to do the ombre dye and she did it better then I could have ever wanted!!! I love, love it AND I love, love HER. She is so amazing at just knowing what will look good on you.
