NURTURING and PERFORMANCE-EXCELLENCE DRIVEN
by graduatenathan at Citysearch
Came across this site, am an e-xstudent pianist of this school way back from the school's Australian branch, now a graduate with an Associate Diploma and a Bachelor of Music degree. Not only are the kids motivated to excel in performance, there is also a lot of nurturing. Under the direction of Ronald Chaz Barcenilla, teachers are clearly trained to be nurturing and discipline-oriented.
Through experience, I know these to be the best ingredients for musical growth at the instrument. I highly recommend this school specially to those who want to enjoy their music through a structured curriculum. Thanks Ron for the musical experience and all the challenging memories at the piano. Nate and Natalie.
- Pros: CARING, STRUCTURED, FOCUSSED
- Cons: NIL, NIL, NIL
EXTREMELY GOOD, TREAT YOU AS REAL PEOPLE
by jamiegreatpianist at Citysearch
I am a former student of the Johannes School of Music. I used to take
piano, guitar and singing lessons. My teachers were Ronald Chaz Barcenilla (piano) and
Matt riskam (guitar and singing). Both are extremely good and they treat you as
real people. Now I go to a music teacher in Ibiza, Spain and is/ was way
too strict and old fashioned so I quit. Ronald and Matt's teaching for me was
a great experience and I wil never forget it. My name is Jamie Thompson.
- Pros: GREAT VALUE, ENCOURAGING, GREAT EXPERIENCE
- Cons: NIL, NIL, NIL
