Founded in 1979 in Los Angeles, La Salsa has grown into a chain of quick-serve, taqueria-style restaurants. Specializing in soft-shell tacos and other Mexican favorites, the restaurant's hallmark is its salsa bar that allows customers to choose their toppings. Menu offerings include a variety of fish, meat and veggie tacos, plus burritos, quesadillas and salads. Entree-sized meal platters--like the enchilada plate or three-pepper fajita platter--come with rice, beans, chips and salsa.

Chunks of Avocado. I ordered the California Burrito and it was sooo goooood. Maybe because it had chunks of avocado it in unlike other places where they serve gucamole and you are not sure whether it is made from avocado or not. I really like this one sauce in the condiments bar. It was red and creamy. People were really nice too.
