Tucked inside the Beverly Glen Marketplace, this market is a throwback to mom-and-pop grocery stores of yesteryear, with employees who know their customers by name and aisles that aren't a mile long. The meat department occupies the entire right wall and is staffed by helpful butchers well versed in the distinction between cuts. As an added bonus, the store is popular with the beautiful elite of Bel Air, so people-watching is great. In addition to the usual assortment of steaks, poultry and seafood items, meat options include marinated kabobs and ribs made fresh daily plus a cornucopia of homemade sausages. Bel Air Prime Meats stocks only Harris Ranch beef, mostly prime with some choice cuts.
