Dissapointed

The bean soup was bland. I ordered the mole enchiladas, the red sauce was ok, I've had better. The other two sauces were tasteless. Others ordered the fish, was pretty good, but on the pricey side for the portion size. The flautas were good, but they give you three with no rice or beans. The spanish rice tested like fish, so I asked the waitress why and she said they cook it with chicken broth (okay) and did not offer to remove it from the check. We would not go out of our way to go back. Don't even know if I would give it a second chance.
The Best Kept Secret

Fabulous food, prompt and friendly service, warm atmosphere: this is what I look for in a dining experience. I have been there several times and always walk away happy. I wish they had more space becuase you do have to wait most of the time, but it's well worth it!
- Pros: It's the best Mexican cuisine you will have in LA
- Cons: Restaurant is so popular it needs more space. Too crowded for a large group

Do not expect a huge space...this is literally a hole in the wall....an orange one at that! But the food here is really delicious. I have tried their breakfast as well as their lunch/dinner and have never been disappointed. Their cafe de olla is to die for...have it with the chilaquiles divorciados...you won't regret it.
- Pros: Delicious food at a very reasonable cost
- Cons: Can be crowded and so there may be a wait
