Local Gem. I have been visiting this location since middle school (when it was just a one room cafe). The Chicken Special is my go-to sandwich, which includes roma tomatoes, provolone cheese, marinated eggplant and imported roasted peppers. Oh, and don't forget to try one of their nutella paninis for desert!

Are we in France?. We went there for lunch & it was really crowded, so we waited. Nobody even cared that we were waiting...with a child too. It was like we didn't exist. I guess they are making LOTS of money & don't need to be nice. In this recession, I will give my money to people who deserve it. I felt like I was in France...no customer service. My sandwich was good, but not worth the hassle. Esp. if you have kids, then forget it.

Good food, awful service. The nuttella croissant with strawberry will absolutely be your favorite... but be warned: if you go near midnight on a weekend, they will treat you like a drunk teenager whether you are or not. They get a big after-club crowd and they don't have servers do much as bouncers that are borderline hostile towards you.

Pathetic Service. The food is good but be prepared to be treated like an animal. I went there with a party of 12 on a saturday night and the bouncer treated us like we were doing him a favor by being there and not the other way around. He spoke to us like we were there as a burden on him. Its not worth it. The food can be replaced by another place with better service. If you go there on a saturday night, do so at your own risk.

worst service. This place is by far the worst service i have ever received. It's impossible to grab any waiters attention, and the food is whatever a good panini I rather get it somewhere else where at least i will be taken care of. All the wait staff there is sloppy, and unattentive. If one pays for service one expects service, for Beverly Hills standard this place is definitely not at the level.

Wonderful Sandwich spot. Great, unique, inexpensive sandwiches. Perfect for when you don't want to cook but don't want a drawn out meal. People watching outside too.

Sandwiches are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Not being an actual resident of the west side I was introduced to this little place in BH. It is rather small and not a lot of seating to go around Grab a spot as fast as you can! It is so true, the service is very inattentive. They forget to bring things, and asking for a description of the dishes is like pulling teeth. BUT the reason I do go there is because of the chicken mushroom specialty sandwich. The basil "special sauce" is totally mouth watering! I am sure that's what makes all the sandwichs taste great. There is a bit of a walk for parking, but worth all the effort. The beverly kids do tend to fill up the place on the weekends, so it does sort of feel like a high school hang out. Despite all that, I can't wait to go back for some more chicken mushroom!!!!!

Cafe on Canon. Squashed tables make the atmosphere a little tight seated and not the best place to talk about private matters, but the sandwiches are definately worth a try. There is a wide selection of paninis with their own basil-garlic cream sauce that are also available in half portions (which feels a sandwich on its own). Fresh juice, Coffees, this place is as "down to earth" as it gets in Beverly Hills.
