Great Chinese in a trendy area. Each time I've been here, it's been suggested as a lunch destination on a day I'm not particularly dressed up. I'm certainly not used to wearing nice clothes specifically for a work lunch, but I do feel out of place in a tshirt. The food is amazing and healthy. My salads have been fresh and the chicken tender. Their dumplings are also very good. Our waiters haven't been snobby or anything; but some of the customers have given me looks for my clothes. Hey, I make what you make; I don't *have* to wear a suit for work, okay? Sheesh.

Excellent - good value, delicious food.. Seeing that this restaurant was located right in the heart of Beverly Hills, I expected small overpriced portions, long lines, and a rushed unfriendly dining experience. It was the exact opposite. The decor of this small restaurant was very cute and authentic. Our waiter was friendly and recommended a special beef tenderloin that was not on the menu. It, along with our lo mein, and spicy dumpling appetizer were delicious. Prices were very reasonable as well. Cheap valet parking in the front. This place would be great for a reception or corporate event.

Great Local Chinese Food with Upscale Decor. Have eaten here several times and love the decor, the service is excellent (hats off to Tao for making me always feel special), and the food is always fresh, clean and flavorful. Prices are also very reasonable. This is a nice alternative to find great local Chinese food (Beverly Hills, West Hollywood) with a very pleasant setting versus having to go all the way to Monterey Park). Popcorn shrimp is one of my favorites - lights, crisp and not too sweet, the soups are wonderful and pretty much everything I've had has been great!

EXCELLENT. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICES.

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. SHRIMP WITH LOBSTER SAUCE IS GREAT. THE BEEF SOUP WAS EXCELLENT. HUGE PORTION, GREAT SPICES AND LOTS OF BEEF (VERY TENDER BEEF).

Good value. I went by myself while on a business trip. I ate hot and sour soup (I have had better--not spicy and not sour); a spring roll (tough to mess those up), and the crispy shrimp (very tasty). I came away full. The meal was pretty good--i have had better but it was not bad. I do like the environment. Worth a visit. I cost me about $25 with tip (I drank soda).

Nice place--for Bev Hills. Yeah, it's in swanky Beverly Hills, but Xi'an maintains a mellow and friendly vibe. The food is fresh and tasty--and you can order it any way you like (get the dumplings steamed instead of fried). The staff will treat you like a star--even if you walk in wearing jeans and a T-shirt.
