Devotees of Aida's world-famous skin-care regimens frequent these hallowed halls. The ambience is refined and conservative--the kind of place you'd sooner expect to see Nancy Reagan than Courtney Love. An indoor waterfall graces the relaxation room, where robe-clad guests curl up in velvet armchairs to await their treatments, read magazines and sip fresh-squeezed juices.
The Services
Facials and body treatments are Aida's bread and butter, and her life's work. Tahitian Milk Bath--part of the popular Tahitian Body Glow treatment--is an aromatic potion derived from peaches, Brazil nuts and soy milk. A variety of hydrotreatments and massage styles are offered, as well as manicures, waxing and hair and makeup services. Amenities include a steam room and the "multi-jet deluge shower," which is a fancy name for a jumbo showerhead. Aida Thibiant does not have a dry sauna or a whirlpool tub.

I would like to share with everybody that I had a great experience at Ida Thibiant spa having my waxing with Eve. It was very professionally done, completely painless and fast. I think she is the best.

When I first moved to Los Angeles, I spent so much time looking for a great bikini wax. I went everywhere!! I was referred to Eve and I haven't gone to anyone else since. I'm using Eve's services for more than 5 years. She is highly professional, accurate, fast, friendly, makes the experience painless and pleasant. I can't say enough nice things about her and the quality of her treatments. She has a warm personality and great sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend her to any first-timers... you are in great hands!!

I have been going to Faye at Thibiant for a few years now. I get the collagen facial and love, love, love the heat masque that is applied during this treatment. Faye is fantastic and always knows what to apply to my face when it is acting up. And she is always pleasant to to talk to. The front desk staff offer great product knowledge when I am purchasing skin care for everyday use. I highly recommend this spa to everyone.

Know Before You Go:
Spa meals are usually ordered from Il Tramezzino, across the street. Order a salad, "tramezzini" (finger sandwiches) or a penne dish. Don't hesistate to ask the spa staff for a cappuccino, too.
Save Money:
For the price of a manicure, you can enjoy the same spa amenities as patrons paying for pricier treatments--terry robe, steam room and all.
