The Scene
The legendary Christophe performs his haircutting wizardry on A-list clients including Bill Clinton, Nicole Kidman, Cameron Diaz and Goldie Hawn. He's the stylist who weaned Hilary Clinton from her headbands to a chic style more befitting a first lady. The Belgian stylist and his staff of 45 work their magic in the elegant marble accented main salon while tony patrons sip espresso from the coffee bar up front.
The Services
Chemical treatments (perms, coloring, highlighting, scalp treatments) take place in the environmentally safe annex where the air is filtered and only natural dyes are used. A session with master of chic, Christophe, could blow your budget, but other stylists are available for $65 and up.

He gets it. He just gets it. You can go into that man with the most horrific weave and you'll come out looking like Jennifer Aniston. I got a botched haircut from another hairdresser and had to go into Michael with my tail between my legs, lookin like a soccer mom. He threw me in that chair, did his magic and had me transfmored back into the 20 something I knew I really was. He's awesome. I have never had softer, sleeker, sexier hair in my life. And people see it. I get compliments on his work everywhere. And I'm like yeah, I know a guy... bam here's his card. The dude is dope, to say the least. You got frizz, no problem, you got a football shaped head, don't worry about it. He cuts hair that looks good on YOUR head, not nicole kidmans. I don't even have to tell him what I want. I just sit down and shut up and it's always perfect.

I had no idea who Michael Haase was until I got home from being hair model with Unite Eurotherapy and 'Googled' him. Holy cow do I feel like an idiot! Upon arrival he essentially ordered me to be quiet yet was extremely professional at the same time (I have had so many bad hair-cuts I've apparently gotten used to explaining every detail of what I want done to ensure minimal damage, plus I had no clue who he was, such a silly girl). He felt my entire scalp, cheekbones, and neck, examined my facial features, had me stand up, turn my head, look him in the eye... all before even touching a comb let alone a pair of scissors. He envisions his work before he begins, a true master. I mentioned to him I had been thinking about going short for a while (I was shoulder length pre-Michael) and he ran with it. The cut is a little shorter then I wanted but it looks terrific! If you want a simple trim of your layers-ala-Aniston go to SuperCuts. If you want to change your look to enhance your features, go see Michael. (And look into being a hair model for Unite's training courses, it's a free cut and color and you get free AWESOME products!!! They didn't even give me the 'ok, now where's my tip?' look!)
