gifted alina, fun atmosphere, very comfortable setting, great mark, wonderful staff, best facial features, great service
A great all-in-one salon. Perfect if you're short on time and need to get beautified from head to toe all in one place.
The best hair experience you will ever have!. I can't say enough good things about this salon. Not pretentious and stellar customer service. Alina is simply the best hairstylist I've ever had! I've gone here for at least 8 years and get compliments on my cut all the time. Love love love!!!
Proud to look in the mirror. Alina is truly talented and gifted at her craft. I'm continually amazed at the natural look I'm able to have with my extensions.
For straight, frizz free hair see Wolf. This treatment has left may hair shiny, straight and frizz free for the first time in my life! Wolf did a Keratin straightening for me and when I was in humid Atlanta this past week, I could not believe that my hair did not frizz, curl, or feel like a fur coat around my neck. Wolf's work is FANTASTIC! And if you have never had your color done by Wolf you are missing an enormous treat too!
Pamper yourself with expert spa services, star treatments--and occasional star gazing at this Beverly Hills salon..
In Short
Don't call it a comeback--he's been here for years. Jim Wayne Salon has been on this block long enough to know that even in L.A.'s glitziest enclave, you've got to have more than a trendy hook to make it in this town ... if you want to have any sort of longevity, that is. Sure, Jim has his fair share of celebs coming to him for a quick-fix blowout, pre-awards styling or any number of cuts and color; but for the seasoned stylist who sharpened his shears for 14 years as head of Vidal Sassoon's American division before opening his salon in 1991, it's more about making every client feel like a star. The simple, two-story space is strictly casual, while service is detailed, professional and easygoing. Bottom line: It's a fun scene without all the usual BH pomp and circumstance.
The New and Improved ME!.
Just had a dynamite experience at Jim Wayne Salon with Wolf, the BEST colorist in LA.
I had no idea what to do with my hair. Just knew I wasn't happy. I needed
an impartial eye and masterful hand to enhance my best facial features. Wolf sat me down and in an afternoon of laughter, a healthy lunch and a super friendly, collegial atmosphere, I emerged brand new.
I had a color "correction", some spectacular hi-lights and that new Kerritasse straightening for the look I've
always prayed for: straight hair!
Now, back in New York, Fall has a whole new feel for me. Ultra-new and Super stylish!
Thanks Wolf....I love you. Elaine
GREAT SERVICE. Harry Richard and Mark are Great ! They will tell you exactly what you need and how to look your very best. They do not try to sell you anything that you do not need. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun. I highly recommend this salon, especially to men who may fear this type of setting. It's a very comfortable setting for men who are just starting to take control of their looks.
