I've been going to the U salon for a while now and I've never left unhappy.I only go to Nancy now becauce she is amazing with my hair but from time to time I don't make

an appointment and just have anyone to do my hair and im always happy. The prices are so great and everyone is very sweet. I've referred all my friends to nancy and they all love her we dont know what to do without her :)

Alexandra's awesome

Alexandra is fantastic. I've been seeing her for 3 years now, her cuts and blowouts are perfection! Plus she's super fast, which is so refreshing. I feel bad for the 2yr old's mom, she must have caught Alex on a bad day :( She really is one of the best stylists at U... and further.

just had 2 say i noticed that the u and umberto l.a. are the same salon i think the u is just a nickname for the umberto l.a. salon i. guess because there are the umberto beverly hills salons .. same owner just differnt locations

Best haircut I ever had!

After reading the reviews on this site I was a little worried to go to U. But I am not a $150 hair cut person , neither a $15 hair cut type. So I went there and it was a great experience.

First I really liked the atmosphere more relaxed than the Beverly Hills salon, a large and comfortable space.

I really got lucky as I did not know any of the stylist, I got Bonni and Bonni is absolutely great. She took her time and not only gave me a very stylish haircut but also really took in consideration my own feature. Every one tells me that this is really the best haircut I ever had and I love it!!!!. I really do recommend her. Beside of giving great haircut she is also very nice.

It did end up costing me $60 plus tips.

Sliced neck. Permanent scar.

I actually have one stylist I love here, but because of one incident where I was sliced on the neck by a stylist, I will never go back. I usually go to one women stylist at U Salon, but she was out on vacation so I took my chances with another male stylist. He did not have a friendly demeanor. I have a shorter style haircut, so you must cut along my neckline. This stylist was rushing and was cutting along my neckline and actually stabbed my neck! He apologized but that was about it. Does U Salon have no manners or strict policy on cutting their clients? I should have been offered a free haircut or something else to show that the salon was more apologetic and shocked by this accident. Instead I received a curt sorry, a dab of hydrogen peroxide and asked to pay my $50. I now have a permanent neck scar.
