BEST DERMATOLOGIST in LA

Dr. Rand is great. I am in shock that the previous post was that horrible. I understand that the particular billing situation was a pain, but it is not a great judgment to use on the Doctors work. Dr. Rand is always so accommodating and incredibly nice. She does work in a "speedy" fashion, but she has always been spot on with my condition. Her staff is very sweet and seem to be very knowledgeable. They always remember me and what is going on in my life. I liked Dr. Rand so much that my entire family of 6 now goes to her!
Maybe there really was a glitch and some things got screwed up in the past. What is important is that her office seems to be functioning just fine now and I see her probably once every 10-12 weeks. I would reccomened anyone to give her a try. I have seen everything from infants to seniors in her office. She treats everyone and everything!
AND -- she is soooo great at cosmetic procedures. I got this new type of "botox" called Dysport and it is incredible. Dr. Rand was on the clinical studies for 6 years and it was just released in the US. If you are interested in Botox -- give it / her a try!
- Cons: NONE that I have witnessed
Shameless and rude office. Avoid.

Avoid this office. I would like to comment on the actual Doctor's work, but no one can remember. My wife sought Dr. Rand out for treatment under our insurance in February, 2000. We never received a bill from the Dr. and assumed our insurance had covered it... until 8 YEARS LATER, when, after submitting the bill to insurance, they received their payment (somehow) and have come after us for an additional $37 dollar co-pay. Again, this is work from 8 years ago! Outraged to receive the bill after two full presidential terms, I contacted the office where they were rude and abrupt, blaming a "computer glitch" for the delay, and expecting prompt payment. You'd think a Beverly Hills doctor would be able to accept the insurance payment and let the matter and 37 bucks drop -- they might even be a tad embarrassed -- but no, they're haughty and insistent and are sending me the bill every two weeks. Outrageous.
