This award-winning restaurant chain is known primarily for its baby back ribs, but through the 30-plus years since its flagship location opened in North Miami, the family-friendly menu has expanded to include barbequed chicken, char-grilled steaks, burgers, pasta, seafood and salads. All ribs are served with one of the accompanying sauces (Original, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Red Hots, or Honey-Chipotle), and two sides like coleslaw, fries, or a baked potato.

Sorry, I just don't get what all the fuss is about. This place is extremely average -- food, ambience, service are all lacking. I mean, if you're really Jonesing for ribs and can't find a good local joint, I guess this will get your fix -- but I'd keep it as a last resort.

i went here for dinner on a friday night. located right next door to lawry's with convenient underground parking. food was very tasty and surprisingly better than expected. chicken tenders were really really good. shrip and steak was ok. ive had better but for the price i guess for the price, it was pretty worth it. overall visit was very satisfying. friedly waiters, nicely expected decor and prompt service. PROS: convenient underground parking, good appetizers, promt service CONS: none

While no one can fault the food, the service is so, unfortunately poor, that you take your sanity into your hands when you go there. I waited 40 minutes for a take-out dinner for two and was given one dinner and two extra sides. While I was there, two customers yelled at the hostess because they had not seen a waiter in an hour. I noticed one of the waiters reading a newspaper in a side room. Several couples stormed out, muttering. Too bad, because the ribs ARE good.
