great indian food, great food service, horrible customer service, bad dining experience, mediocre food, nice classy ambience, truly satisfying experience

Easy-to-miss Wilshire Boulevard Indian restaurant with tikka masala worth dreaming about and as many flavors of nan as you can imagine.
HORRIBLE.
I have ordered from here many times and they have delivered to my house ( 2 miles away) without any problem. Last night, I ordered food, my bill came to 60$. I waited over an hour in a half and it still wasn't at my house. They finally called ME and said that It is not worth their time to drive 2 miles away and deliver the food when i only spent 60$.
I could not believe that they said this to me! When i only ordered chicken tandoori, chicken masala and garlic naan and that food ( tiny portions) came out to 60$. What a rip off. She then tells me if i want them to deliver it i have to spend another 20$ and it will be worth their time to deliver it to me.
NEVER going back and NEVER sending anyone their. How unprofessional can a restaurant be? Horrible customer service and the food is mediocre. I suggest no one goes there.
Delicious food and super friendly staff!. I went here for my anniversary and had an incredible dinner. The food is delicious, we had the tandoori salmon and they even brought us an extra serving because they thought the initial serving was too small (although we were stuffed!) The staff was very nice and helped us celebrate our special day. Can't wait to go back and I definitely recommend this place!
The Paneer is to die for. The food here is so good. In college its hard to get good Indian food, I've tried a bunch of places, but this is the only one that really hits the spot. Portions are average size, but the taste more than makes up for it. Try the paneer dishes.
Nice ambience, food was terrible. Reading the reviews we went for the lunch buffet. The food was overpriced and the quality not so good as a vegetarian. The ambiance is nice but that's about it
bad experience. FOOD OK BUT THEY THINK PEOPLE COMING FROM INDIA ARE BEGGARS, FOR THEIR INFORMATION PEOPLE WHO CAN TRAVEL SO FAR AND SPEND SO MUCH OF MONEY ARE IN NO CHANCE TO BE INSULTED BY THE RESTAURANT OWNER. SITTING IN BEVERLY HILLS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN INSULT ANY BODY. THIS IS NOT A PLCE TO BE IN - TRUST ME. I DID NOT WISH TO RATE BUT A MINIMUM RATING IS REQUIRED SO ONE STAR ONLY BY COMPULSION AND NOT BY CHOICE
Simply delicious. All i can say is wow. The food was delicious - my wife is still talking about the mango lassi (it's been 2 months since we dined here). Located in Beverley Hills, we expected the prices to be outlandish, but that was not the case (a pleasant surprise).
Great Food, Great Service. The last review seems very skewed to me! I've been coming to Bombay Palace for 10 years and have been happy with the service and food every time. The decor is still lovely, the staff friendly, and the food quality top notch. The vegetarian selections are just as good as the meat ones. When you ask for the dishes to be prepared spicy, it really is! What a refreshing change from the oil laden, tasteless stuff most Indian restaurants try to pass off as "Indian" food. The food and service is great and I truly don't understand why some people had such a bad experience especially on Valentine's Day (very strange). I'm South Asian myself, so take it from someone who grew up on mom's homestyle food, you can't go wrong with Bombay Palace if you want good food.
Bombay Palace - A "Bomb".
After reading the reviews, had to try it!
As we arrived, a tour bus stopped in front and about (40) people arrived for dinner. A buffet, private and screened, was set up for them. As out table was near the front window, we watched, this group depart and another bus group arrive.
The service and food, at best, mediocre... truly a disappointing dining experience! If this is romance, I missed something along the way.
Quality Indian and warm, classy ambience without the expense. Don't be deceived by the high end address and lovely white candle-lit interior of Bombay Palace. It is as welcoming and reasonably priced as can be, with fairly sized portions of masterfully made Indian cuisine. Our dishes were clearly composed of nothing but the freshest ingredients, and escaped the major fault of so many upscale, less authentic Indian establishments that prepare the recipes to be very dry. Bombay Palace gives you sauce galore and ample varieties of freshly baked, doughy naan to sop it up. One can eat and drink well here for $20-$30. In addition, the relaxed but upscale ambience makes Bombay Palace apt for small, quiet occasions.
too expensive. I went to this restaurant on valentines day with my wife. First of all the menu was too expensive, and the quantity was too little. Besides this, we didn't know that the menu will be different today. The other thing is that the customer service was bad. The lady in pink skirt was very mean and rude.I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially on valentines day!
