My go-to nail place. I always buy Groupons or Lifebookers for nail services and never find anything as fab as Contempo. Super convenient, inexpensive, always offering coupons online, friendly, accommodating, a billion color choices...I'm going straight there in the morning! :)

I'm a regular here at Contempo Nails and everything is always great. My usuals are mani/pedi with a massage. I often get my massage done by Ida but I notice that she is not there anymore.

She got fired from Contempo Nails for stealing money, nail polish, and free manicure coupons to sell it around the other salons in the neighborhood. That is not good. Oh well that's what you get for being dishonest. I also own a business so I understand what it feels like when an employee steals from me. I would have done the same thing. As for Contempo Nails I still get my regular mani pedi and massage with other masseuses. Always doing a great job for me.

I haven't been to Contempo Nails for a while and I have to say it's still my favorite place. I was in Isreal and just came back and Contempo Nails is one place I really miss. Like what people say.

"You don't value what your have until it's not available anymore"

Diane (the owner) is still the same wonderful person that she is. The customer service from everyone here is incredible. I enjoy every moment. I glad to see that that my favorite guy Alex is back as well as Henry and many other familiar faces. I can see that majority of the techs who left is now back at Contempo Nails. The salon is also bigger now since I've been gone.

Congratulations Diane on the expansion. The place looks great.

I've been a long time customer of Contempo Nails and is very satisfied with everything. Being a business owner myself I understand that there are ups and downs in all types of businesses. I am happy to see that Contempo Nails at this moment has most of all the original techs back and happily working. Every one seems to be very happy and working hard. I would like to give good reviews for Contempo Nails after trying it for the first time. I live in Burbank but work in Beverly Hills and I must admit this salon is way better then all the ones in Burbank. The quality of work is great I have no complaints. Very friendly, the person in charge was very nice and comforting. The price is to my surprise was very affordable. I got a mani pedi for only $20. They were having a special. I I really like Contempo Nails, luckily I work not too far from them. I just I'll be coming more often.

Huge Place with many workers... I'm amazed with how big this place is. When I walked in it was like WoW!! It was very busy but the good thing is that they had like over 28 workers. They wait was very fast. by the time I finished choosing my colors it was already my turn. They also had so much to choose from. I was like in polish heaven....I was a little skeptical at first about how cheap the price was. ($23) for mani pedi is a deal. That's what brought me in and I'm glad I did try it. The quality turns out to be quite good. I was very impressed and satisfied. It was a very good trip to the nail salon and I just might of found my new favorite place to go. Hey great price, great selection, great customer service.

The Best Nail Salon Ever. I've been going to Diane for many years now and I always have the best experience. Diane has always been the sweetest and the only person that always wants to make sure that you're comfortable and get you anything you need to make you're experience better. Like come on, who else who doesn't go to Contempo can say that the place they go to remembers their name, gives out water bottles, and even special deals when its your birthday. I went to Diane one day and she even bought me generous yogurt next store from Toppings. Comes to show how she's very caring and has great customer service skills. I recommend her to all my close friends and family members and they always become regulars just like myself! Thanks Diane and make sure to keep up the great business that you're running! Happy holidays

P.S. her prices are very low as it is at only $25 for a bomb manicure pedicure but she gives you a discount if you bring your own tools. Wow doesn't get any better than that! you get a set once for a couple dollars and save much more especially since you become a regular with her.

Best nails in LA!. I have been going to Contempo nails for many years and have never received anything but the best service. It is really upsetting to see that people accuse Diane of treating her employees poorly, so I had to set the record straight . I have read that she doesn't pay the employees when she gives us free manicures and that they get no breaks that is just not true. I also read that customers are being lead to believe that when she speaks to her employees in Vietnamese she is "yelling" at them which is also untrue. Many of her employees are new to this country and that is the only language that they speak, Diane is giving them a job and an opportunity to get ahead and is being made out to be someone who treats them poorly. It is not right to post all these false accusations of a woman who treats all her customers and employees with the utmost respect. I have worked for Diane and know first hand what a generous employer she is. I would recommend Contempo Nails over any other nail salon in Los Angeles, the quality and service are unbeatable. I really hope some of these peoples false negative comments on other sites don't stop you from going to a great salon!

Very Nice and Friendly. I miss L.A. I moved to NYC a few years back and recently just came back and I see a celebrity in my favorite nail salon Contempo Nails. Only in L.A. Jessica Lowndes from 90210 was having a her nails done right next to me. She was there for her birthday from what I understand. That was exciting... Everyone is here is still very nice and friendly just like before. I remember a few years ago before I left there was a few weirdos working there and I'm glad that they are gone. There's was a lady name Van who use to do it but left L.A. to NY. I heard she asked for a guys number and got rejected. I was there that day and saw her disappointed and reacted like a crazy person. Women ... There's a lot of drama in the nail salons. Same thing with Kim with the 2 huge big boobs. After she left her husband for her millionaire lover, she got rejected. (April Fools) I was there that day and her behavior was like an animal. I was also there that day. This is my opinion. It doesn't matter what kind of career you are in you should be more civilized and educated. But now that they are gone I give Contempo Nails a full 5 Stars !!!:)
