The nostalgic ambiance here adds to the experience. And the price is defintely right. However, I was shaken for hours after a patron was surprised by a surreptitious pickpocket who had his hand in her purse (sitting on the chair next to her) about 3/4 of the way through the showing we attended. We were all jilted by her knee-jerk reaction to jump up and chase him out emergency exit. Her call for help set other patrons into motion. Security is obiously an issue here. Hold onto your belongings. Or better yet, don't bring anything in with you.
Pros: Nostalgic atmosphere
Cons: Sketchy factor; questionable security

This is one of the last of the ultra cool cheap theaters in Los Angeles. Its close to Canter's and all those old great delis you might dig on if you were a real Angelino. Thats it. Great people and cheap snacks in the heart of Fairfax.
Pros: cheap & nice
