Eclectic, Fun & Reasonable. I've been coming to Dragonfly for years and years (too many to count) and they have generally offered something different for every night of the week. The staff was courteous, but its the entertainment people come for. Sundays are the "big" night with the Spazmatics, but they usually have dancing of some sort or live bands. Best to call or check in the paper to see whats going on for any given night, but I'm almost never let down.

They did have a gay night on Saturdays, but I was there last week and it's gone now. I had one problem where I was overcharged by $10, and the management fixed it immediately and then bought me a round. Maybe Im old fashioned, but if you don't want todeal with Hollywood Blvd BS, then this place always delivers.

Great Club. This Saturday Jan12 Temptation one night only Dj's Spining 80's ,90's,Hip Hop, Freestyle,Old Shool, House etc.

$5.00 before 10pm $10 after , 2 for 1 drinks till 10pm, trendy attire.FYI Not a Gay Club

if your tired of all them stuck up super clubs $$$$$ that make your dress to impress and leave you hanging out in the cold waiting to get in this club is for you.

Change of management. Just a heads up...it looks like this a gay bar now. I wish they would update the website because it misleading.

No place like this place =). So here's the real scoop...been going to Dragonfly for a couple of years now so I can speak the truth. Dragonfly has it ALL. GREAT MUSIC (80'S), Awesome cover band (the Spazmatics). good looking crowd (lots of celebs partying it up low profile), chicks chicks and more chicks (trust me ladies, guys know about Dragonfly's ratio so there's plenty of guys there for you too). The dance floor gets packed (lots of dancing and shakin' to the good tunes) and you have a decent sized patio in the back with another bar in the back. There is also a 2nd room with another bar and some sweet lounge chairs to relax on.

Of course there is a line to wait in. What club in Hollywood doesn't have a line?? Guys that are expecting to get in with a group of 4 dudes or more of course are going to have to wait a little longer. Bring some lady friends with you and you wont wait. Come on fellas...you know how it goes.

Security being mean?? Nah, security being security....it's there job, to create a clear walk way, to kick out the drunks, to keep things in order! If you're a dummy that doesn't know how to party and have a good time then maybe you might see a different side to them (your fault) but tell me....what other bouncers/security let drunks act all wild at other clubs and don't kick them out. It happens at every club!!! If you can't act right you'll be seeing the door and outside real fast!!!

Drink prices are decent...TRUST ME....I've been to clubs in Hollywood and ordered 2 beers for myself and my total was $18 bucks!! haha, you can imagine I didn't offer to buy any lady's drinks that night! But at Dragonfly 2 beers is $10bucks!? Expensive?!?!? If you can't afford that you shouldn't even be out partying.

And another thing......the cover charge is $10bucks!! Every other spot in Hollywood is $20+!! Valet is $10bucks too....why are people complaing about these prices??

So to sum things up! GREAT MUSIC, AWESOME SHOW, GREAT CROWD, DECENT PRICES =GOOOOOD TIMES!!!! See you this Sunday

Always Rockin'. Heres the deal, I've been coming to see the spazmatics for a while now, they always put on a kickin' show..who doesnt love the 80'S!? and me and my girls have a great time shakin our hott asses all over that place.

Good atmosphere, CRAZY GOOD BAND, tons of hott people and the only place I spend my sunday nights..check it out!..and be sure to come say hi :)

Spazmatics Rock!. Getting in can take a while, but that's to our benefit...groups with ladies are given priority. I have been every sunday night for a couple of months and i learned to show up with some girls! Here's how it seems to go; hot girls = first in...hot girls with a guy or two = next in...group of dudes = gonna have to wait a minute. Once inside, you're gonna get directed to clear the walkway, but that's because after the spazmatics start the main room gets PACKED, and it becomes the only way to get around. Hot girls EVERY TIME. Drink prices are average for hollywood, but the drinks i keep getting are stronger than average. If you can't afford 17 bucks for 2 drinks, you shouldn't be out on a sunday night...that macdonalds shift starts early on monday! If you read this and still can't get yourself in quickly, im glad you're not in there with me! The ratio keeps going up....

Dragon-why? Worst bar in L.A.. This is the kind of place that has about 5 people inside, but they make you stand in line for about 10 minutes before letting you in anyway. And I have never met ruder human beings than the bouncers that were working the door on Sunday night, May 28. These were the rudest, most obnoxious people I've ever met in my life. The head bouncer --how he earned this distinction is beyond me... must have been based on who had the most rocks in his head at orientation-- asked my group how many people were in our party. We told him 6. So he lets 5 of us in and stops the 6th person at the rope. We explained again to the bouncer that one of our party wasn't let in, and for no reason at all he refused to let the 6th person in for about 5 minutes. THIS is the kind of person I'm talking about... beyond rude. Once we all got inside we were mildly amused at how empty the place was. What a joke. The club started to fill up closer to midnight before the band was going on, but the crowd was about 90% underage. So if you're looking to hook up with some teenage chicks all dressed in the same little striped shirt, this is your place. But bring your plastic because the drinks are ridiculously overpriced too. On top of paying a $10 cover, I had to pay $17 for a Corona and a mixed drink that was served in a small rocks glass. Ripoff of the century.

Better organization needed.. I stood in line on Sunday night for an hour and a half with hundreds of other people, only to be turned away at 11:00. People were cutting in line right and left. The bouncers there are extremely rude; I was kicked out once simply for opening a door to get better cell phone reception! I love The Spazmatics, but not at this club.

Dragonfly not so fly. Bridgetkelly is right on, the bouncers at this second rate club are SO RUDE, I was floored. Obviously overcompesating for some shortcomings somewhere....

The drinks are overpriced, the atmosphere is shabby (yet not chic) and the sound system sucks (kept cutting in and out). I suppose if you have a free in with a killer band, it's probably worth the trip to support your band but as for a night out, I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Sweet 80s night. Getting into the club can be a pain, so show up early. We basically stood in front of the line for like 45 minutes as the bouncers let in all the girls. It seemed annoying at the time, until they let us in and the girl/guy ratio was great. We went on 80s night and the band was great, even though dancing could be hard due to how packed the floor was. There is also an outdoor patio, good for taking a smoke break. Drinks were kind of pricey, but hey, it's LA.
