A place to pay homage to the extraordinary yet mundane.. In Short
Less of a formal museum than a gimmicky tourist draw, the Guinness swims with people and cameras during the summer, thanks in large part to its central location on Hollywood Boulevard. Visitors can weigh themselves against the excessiveness of the human condition in several paltry exhibits that should entertain for, oh, about an hour. Displays revolve around a mixture of artifacts, video displays and wax re-creations of noteworthy people (the world's tallest, shortest, fattest, et al).
