Editorial Review for NBC Television Studio Tour – by Mary Weatherup

In Short
Most big-time shows are shot on other lots ("ER" and "Friends" were filmed nearby at Warner Bros., for example), so unless you're a huge "Tonight Show" fan or "Days of Our Lives" junkie, this may not be the tour for you. Scripted docent-speak is accompanied by peeks at wardrobe rooms and soundstages. The pinnacle is a visit to the "Tonight Show" theater and a look at Jay Leno's parking space.

Insider Tips

Parking

Only street parking is available. Expect a bit of a hike from any available spot to the beginning of the tour.

Know Before You Go

Free tickets to the "Tonight Show" are available at the studio. Leno reserves the front rows for the first 30 people in line as a way of saying thanks for sitting around all day.
