The location on Sunset is still open! It's the Ventura Boulevard that closed. Samuel French specializes in books/scripts related to theater, film and television. Great browsing, plus you never know who you'll run into in the aisles.

Enter the old wooden space and you feel as if you're an actor on the stage at the Globe Theatre. Besides the many plays available here, you can also get books on anything remotely related to the entertainment industry. Rare first addition coffee table tomes and an Elia Kazan signed book of "On the Waterfront" are among such gems.
