best ahi tuna steak, great first class service, great good food, rude server, favorite restaurant, recommend place, very tasty side dishes
Great Food & Terrific Service. My co-workers and I had dinner there yesterday night after work. We had I reservation at 7pm. We were promptly sitted and asked for our drink orders. For appetiziers we ordered the calamari, mushrooms stuffed with crabment and cesar salad, all were VERY excellent. For Dinner I had the petit filet with shrimp very small portions of entrees but large portions of the side dishes, so if you are dinig in a group I suggest that you all order separte dishes and share. Our waiter was nice but didnt seem genuine...maybe he's an actor...lol. All & all was great
Definitely overrated.. I'd heard so many people rant and rave about this place so my bf and I decided to check it out one night. Both of us were disappointed. The food was just okay, the service was okay and the ambience was nothing special. The restaurant felt super stuffy...to add to the narrowness of the seating area, the tables seemed so crowded together and the incredible noise level didn't seem to help either. I won't be going back.
Same as Sizzler's. I was absolutely shocked at the poor quality of this renowned restaurant, since I've been to the one in Wash. D.C. My steak was dry, overcooked. The vegetable side dishes were very bland (asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes). The only thing that was good was the bread and the appetizer, stuffed mushrooms w/crabmeat. The service was friendly, but the quality of the food was unfortunately not worth the steakhouse prices. I would go elsewhere.
Good Experience. I visited the one in Pasadena to celebrate a friend's birthday and was very pleased with the service. We were seated within minutes of our arrival and the waiter took the time to explain the menu and to make a my first visit unforgettable. The side dishes were very tasty and the steak was tender and juicy. I did not care for all the butter served with it, but the tenderness and flavor, made up for it. We ordered the Porterhouse for two, which is great to share with a significant other, and sides are served family style as well. It was a little pricey, but the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and romantic. I will be back!
Yum!!. Went here last month and I can say with conviction this was the best steak I've ever had! I'm a big steak eater so this is saying a lot. I had the filet mignon, medium rare, and it was tender enough where i can almost cut through the meat with my fork! Highly recommended for steak lovers!
A terrible experience. My experience eating there was terrible! The server was nasty and rude. Not one of our steaks was cooked right and the place was really loud. There is not one reason I would ever go back there.
great food, but bad service. I don't eat red meat, but my boyfriend loves steak so I took him here on his birthday. He said afterwards that it was the best filet he's ever had. My ahi tuna steak was great as well, as were our sides/apps (caesar salad, BBQ shrimp, mashed potatoes) and my delicious apple cucumber martini. My only complaint was that our server was incredibly slow and inattentive. For that kind of money, I expect to be treated better.
I still think it is the best steak in town. I agree that the atmosphere of the restaurant was horrible.....it's noisy and crowded.......and the service was not very well either.......however, I have to admit that they have the best steak in town. I am looking forword for the Pasadena location and hopefully the atmosphere there will be better than the one in BH.
I guess it doesn't take much to make people happy.
A very overrated restaurant.
I went 1 time - that was enough after all the hype
The only thing right about the steak - it was medium rare. Other than that only fair flavor, excessive fat and a little tough.
The spinich - not that good. The potatoe was ok
The wine - excessively over priced, it was marked up 5 fimes from retail.
Not an experience I will repeat.
Go only for the food.. I had high expectations when taking my husband for his birthday to Ruth Chris - food was excellent, service was terribel. You can never reserve online on their website for this location; Did not get a very warm welcome when arriving; This location is VERY SMALL, in a shape of a rectangle - and a short and narrow one. Booths are along one side of the wall, and the other wall consists of the bar and past that 4 tables for 2. You can only walk in a straight line and back; YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR A BOOTH; SERVICE is where they lacked. Our waitress was friendly to us initially when we were seated, but after that, she failed to stop by to finish getting our order. SHE WAS HOWEVER VERY FRIENDLY TO EVERYONE ELSE AROUND US EXCEPT FOR US. I sensed that she was not very 'minority' friendly.
