Everything is good but the food!. Looking forward to trying this place for a while. Great local, Pleasant bar & dining/patio area, Wine is an exceptional value, Prices are generally good but the food is HORRIBLE! I mean really, really bad. Service was top notch and host exceptionally pleasant but will not go back because the food was that bad.

orso not okay. I was eagerly awaiting my introduction to Orso, alas you never get a second chance to make a first impression. The service is more than indifferent, bordering on rude. You also never know who your waiter is, since anyone will come to your table to take your order deliver your food, ignore you...etc. The maitre'd seems to careless. At these prices, I am not expecting to be treated like a king but some recognition would be nice. And the food is very tasteless... I know that in LA good Italian food is hard to come by, and it ain't to be got here. I got the pasta with mixed seafood.. too much sauce and bland at that... the patio is lovely, but it is Los Angeles and most restaurants in this town worth their salt have lovely patios as well.

Consistantly Great. I am always impressed with the food here. I have never had a bad dish. They do one of the best risotto's in town.

Pasta works here. Orso consistently serves great Italian food. The pastas are some of the best in the city. The atmosphere is nice with the outdoor patio and privacy offered. The waiters are indifferent and slow and the only consistent negative about this restaurant and this is after years of being a customer.
