The History
Since its Broadway debut in 1975, "A Chorus Line" has created a singular sensation for theater fans and moviegoers alike. This Pulitzer Prize-winner was one of the longest-running musicals of all time, and in 1976 it racked up nine Tony awards including "Best Broadway Musical." A movie version came out in 1985, starring Michael Douglas.
The Story
Everyone has a story to tell, and this time it comes from a diverse group of Broadway dancers auditioning for an upcoming production. As the day wears on, the auditioning group gets smaller, the competition gets fiercer and the dancers gain insight about each other's lives. All the while, there are plenty of catchy songs and dance numbers to go around.
