Great martinis and even better late happy hour, 10:30pm-12am.
I love this place and the location. The food is really good as are the drinks. They really put allot of time and effort into planning a fun sunday brunch and happy hour. All great values. I like bring friends here from out of town because it's so relaxing and fun.
Awesome Martinis!!! – The martinis were the best!!! Didn't even taste the alcohol it was so smooth. I wasnt too impressed with the quality of service as the waitress didnt attend to the table as much as I felt was needed. The appetizers were pretty good, we had the calamari and some salad. I want to go back and try some other things but the Carmel apple martini and the star f*cker were amazing!!! Wil def go back, I also want to try their endless Mimosas on Sundays!
Fun place – I liked Lola's, I thought it was charming and comfortable. The Martinis are are brilliant!! Every time I make it to Lola's I either bump into a friend or meet a new one. I like the casual / dressy atmosphere.. the last time I was there I was wearing a suit following a meeting.. I felt as comfortable as if I was dressed in Jeans. Oh, and the food... I thought the portions were perfect and the preparation was exceptional. After a long day, it's nice to meet a friendly bartender or a great server.. you can find both at Lola's.
This place is Awesome!!! – Great food, great people, great atmosphere! I have been going there for just over a year and have always had a good meal. I am not much of a drinker, but everyone that I have gone there with in the past have all raved about the drinks.
I have read some of these other comments and am very surprised. The food is great!
Go here... check it out for yourself. I am not sure about their drink special nights... but they have a website I think with that info.
Also a great place to get deserts!
Hugely disappointing – This place was hugely disappointing. I've never been to a restaurant where drinks went untouched, without the bartender asking if there was anything wrong. It was so bad that I left after only spending $40 of a $50 gift ceritificate. A horrible experience.
You Will Love Lolas! – Lola's has delicious food and the drinks are yummy, plentiful and inexpensive. I've never heard anyone say they didn't have an awesome time at Lola's. Highly Recommended for private parties and happy hour $5 martinis and appetizers, yummy!
Lolas=So So – So a good friend recommended this place to me. She had been there a few times and said the Martinis and desserts were to die for!
So i went the other day with a few girlfriends. First impression, the guy at the door was Beautiful. Second impression, the hostess inside was rude. She was so annoying, ugh. I did not feel welcome.
Well, that was that. The waiter was Awesome. He was great and it didnt hurt that he too was a Hottie. He made us feel welcomed.
The martinis were DELICIOUS. The food, so so.. not too flavorful. Oh but the Mac n cheese was to die for!! Absolutely delicious!
Overall the food was okay, the atmosphere was okay. But a little too pricy for me. I dont think I'll be going back. I tried it, sorta enjoyed my experience, dont feel the need to return.
Amazing food & martini cocktails – My sister and I had dinner at Lola's in the dining room the other evening. Our drinks were so good, and we started with their signature mac and cheese. YUM our entree's were also amazing and so well prepared. We really enjoyed the vibe and felt like we could stay and sip drinks all night and talk. The staff took such great care of us and everything was above and beyond. Great experience and great food! I loved the loster linguini!
Worst Place Ever; Truly Disgusting – My friends and I were completely disappointed with our evening at Lola's. First, the staff was very rude. I didn't mind that so much, but the drinks were really bad not to mention grossly over-priced. As we waited to be seated, we looked at the menu. Although it looked impressive, we soon found out the actually food they serve was atrocious. We were a party of eight and everyone unanimously were disgusted by their respective entrees. We spoke with the manager who was not at all sympathetic. In fact, she didn't even apologize or seem to care. We decided that was the last straw. Everyone in our party paid their share of the bill for uneaten food and vowed to never return. Lola's is a horrible place.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! – I was really excited about spending my birthday at Lola's. I checked out the website and the place seemed nice and had a great martini list, which is my drink of choice. I called and spoke with Abby who stated she would try to get me a reservation for my large party and I for Saturday, but couldn't make any guarantees because they had other large parties that night. I told her I understood, but let me know what she can do. I got a call from a Silvie that night who stated she couldn't fit us in until 10pm, but to show up at 5:30pm and they would be able to fit us in. I spoke to Abby the following day who confirmed the same, first come first serve policy.
I showed up at the time I was told to be there with some of the people from my party and was told at my car, never making it to the door, that unless I had reservations, I was not going to be seated. I told the rude so called manager of what I was told by Abby and Silvie and he proceeded to tell me that they were just trying to brush me off. That's what you want to tell a potential customer? I asked for the GM and was brought someone that couldn't have been older than 10 whom never formally introduced himself and said nothing but "I apologize you were misinformed." Not once did either of them state if they can make it up to us or come in for a moment and we'll offer you an appetizer or something. Mind you, there was no one in the restaurant but servers at the time of our arrival. He also told me that to let him know where we were going and he would let our party know as they arrive where we went. Yes, thanks for the favor, I appreciate it. As I tried to text all of my seventeen guest not to show up, he asked us to move our car from the front of the restaurant and park down the street. When I didn't move my car right away, he threatened to call the cops. Are you serious?
My husband works as a manager for a fine dining restaurant and they treat their customers like family. I have never experienced such poor service. They never even let us out of the car. I would never recommend this place I could care less how good their martinis are. If you want great martinis and fabulous service, go to Morton's Steakhouse, which is not far from this hole in the wall. Stay far away from Low-life Lolas.
