Not A Real Irish Pub. Typical fake Irish pub. Called to see if they had Ireland vs France World Cup qualifier and not only did they have no idea what I was talking about, but after explaining they said oh ,if it's on TV,wow. You have "Irish pub" in your name, what a joke.

The Most Relaxed and Decent Bar on the Westside. I've never had more fun at a bar than I've had at Sunday Night Karaoke at Sonnys. Everyone is really friendly and inviting, the whole bar sings along and it's all set in a Boston style sports bahhh.

Sox games pack the house, so make sure to call ahead if you want to attend on those days.

Tap selection is decent, darts are free, the blackboard in the bathroom is full of banter and they recently nabbed a whole bunch of widescreen TVs.

Being a restaurant too, they don't card at the door, only at the bar. The food is fine.

No hard alcohol, but wine and cider for the few who can't enjoy beer!

Terrible food, rude waitress and no liquor!?!?. Went with a friend to trivia night last night. She really likes the trivia night-- claims last night was an "off night" for the bar in general. All I know is that the waitress was rude, the food was really, really bad and they only serve beer, wine and some other sort of "rice" alcohol that the waitress wouldn't (or couldn't) explain to me. I am from New England and this is just a poor, poor copy of the real thing. Won't go back unless my friend makes me.

love this place!. really good and decent priced food for the kind of place it is,..sometimes music gets loud but if you comment the bartender will take care of it, friendly ,kind, efficient ,nice bartenders all around; parking not so great,.not much cleanliness in restrooms tho;...no way to get in if youre late and there'a boston anyhting game going on, but great environemnt and people, employees and cusotmers friendly, a great casual neighborhood beer and wine food place to hang at! they welcome you there!

Don't go there if you're from out of town!. I was looking forward to watching the ALDS clincher against the Angels. I drove 45 minutes from Arcadia to be with other Sox fans and I was told I could not sit down at an open table for 2 because I was by myself.

I was in town on business and was dissed by a young waitress. So I left and went to Fat Fenner's in Hermosa Beach. They welcome all of Red Sox Nation.

Too many rules and look at you strange if you're not a regular. Good Luck Sonny!!

Feels like you never left Boston. Those of you from Boston living out here, this place is a must go-to! From the Boston sports teams paraphernalia on the walls, this cozy pub is the perfect place to have a Guinness and trash talk the Yankees! The pub often has karaoke too, which just takes it to that next level of awesomeness.

This Place is Wicked Awesome- It's Like "Cheers" for the West Siiiide. How can you go wrong with a Boston sports bar, smack-dab in the middle of Wilshire with not one, but TWO nights devoted to karaoke? Sonny's is a north-easterner's haven for beer, greasy apps and a good time. Chances are you will run into someone you know or someone who knows someone you know, which is why it's a lot like "Cheers" the TV show, not the real one underneath the Hampshire House, off Beacon in Beantown. Prices are extremely reasonable, karaoke on Wednesdays and Sundays- after whatever Boston game has been played. Walls have Boston sports memorabilia and they also have the honor of being the only place west of the Mississippi where the World Series trophy was displayed! Bronson Arroyo and Damon the Defector were known to do karaoke back in their day ... so, you never know who just might show up! Yankee Fans-- you stay away, ya hear?

West side dive. Great place to go if your sick of the trendy west side bars. No cover, no dress code, darts, a wide variety of beer. If your looking for a hassle free good time, Sonny's is the place to be.
