So not LA. If you are in the mood to escape the typical LA Scene then Sonny McLeans is the place to be! The crowd is extremely mixed and easy going. It is a great place to grab a beer without worrying about wearing last season's jeans.

Cool Bar to hang out and watch the game. the first time i ever went there i wanted a jack and coke but they dont serve hard liquer,bummer. they more than make up for it with cheap pitchers of beer. the workers are great, when they come around to you. the people that go there are great and there arre no problems. very friendly place to hang out with your friends and have a blast

No hard liquor, but there's plenty of beer to fill a frosty mug at this Westside pub.. The Scene
Black-and-white photographs of old Ireland hang next to vintage beer and cigarette ads at this Irish pub, where bartenders have been known to pour a thick pint of Guinness with a clover imprinted into the top of the beer's thick head. A portion of this generous-sized bar is reserved for dart players and pool sharks, while air-hockey players stick to the back room. Arrive early to reserve "The Office," furnished with two couches and a coffee table; it's the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a view of the hardy drinkers at the tables and booths in the bar area. As the night creeps on, check out the clocks that tell the time in Boston, Dublin, Sydney and Santa Monica--because it's always drinking time somewhere.

This pub attracts an assortment of people--from bikers to sorority sisters.

Great Bar. Great place to grab a beer after work or relax watching a game. Service is friendly and there is plenty of cold beer on tap. If you are hungry grab some authentic Guinness Pie or the Best Clam Chowdah west of Worcester.

the BEST DAMN BOSTON SPORTS bar in cali!. thru the grapevine, sonny's was recommended as the #1 bar for New England fans. we got there a bit late for the AFC Championship game and heard they were turning heads away for over an hour. being from outta town and a bunch of girls sporting our Brady pride, the nice bouncer immediately allowed us in. this bar is the MOST KICKASS place to watch any Boston sports team on T.V. the atmosphere is equivalent to being at an actual game, if not even better! everyone is friendly, warm and totally hardcore! thank u Sonny's - u are one reason i will be making a comfortable move to LA! GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guiness is Great!. This place is great. Good food, good people, and good drinks. It has everything you need; a great bar to drink at, tables to get together with friends, as well as darts and pool for some friendly competition. The many TV screens make it easy to catch up on what's happening in sports. Hopefuly you like Boston.

"hello... I need a Beer!". Sonnys is a good place. Fun, social and not too flashy. No trendy hollyweird people wearing trucker hats. Just normal people in normal clothes. Good prices and lots of beer. Karaoke with bad singers. The way it's supposed to be. I recommend it. They have Anchor Steam on tap!

Friendly and Inviting Hang Out. I just had dinner there to celebrate my birthday. I selected the place because it's close to everyone I know. Not having been there before, I went there not knowing what to expect. As it turned out, the place is incredibly inviting, aesthetically and personally. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to celebrate an occasion with a large group of friends or anyone looking for a friendly place to just hang out. To those at Sonny's... CHEERS!

Quality east coast pub!. It took a while, but this is the kind of place I was looking for. Totally unpretentions, come as you are, getting together with friends bar. All kinds of different people, good place to watch sports, quality food, darts, pool. If you're looking for a bar that's not all "LA" or are a misplaced Beantowner wondering where all the regular people went, this is the place for you.
