beautiful gowns, rude service, big name salon, great place, truly wonderful saks, good reputation, rude staff
So i have been going here for years. I buy my self all the make up that comes out. They have this wonderful girl named Sherri. He does all my make up for all my parties and events. I just had my birthday and they did a fabo job. I looked like a movie star. So any ways i got perfume for bond number 5. Neiman had one and it was like 120 for the bottle, if i recall. I ended up spending soooo much money from a new face to a new smell to new beautiful shoes. Oh my god when the women on this review site say that they love spending in Saks its no lie. This place has everything you need for a fabo time with the gals. From head to toe you look like a million bucks. The people in the make up department are a little pushy, they want to sell you everything for every person that you know. They are like what about a perfume for mom, dad brother sister, friend, boyfriend, blah blah blah. Never ended, they are great though most of the them are so friendly and bubbly with all their clients.
I went to Beverly hills store and purchased a Chanel shoe for $679.69 from Christopher Mouton and had to wait 45 minutes to get a receipt he was saying the computer not working, and had to call for the manager , which is not professional because we bought another item and computer was working !!
Poor service,. I ordered few pants and Jackets, paid over 8K and spent several hours in this store for fitting plus few trips to this store but after 3 weeks the alteration was not ready, and they lost few pants Sales person ,Jane is only pushing to sell ,I will not shop in Saks fifth ave in Beverly Hills
VIOLATION OF RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY.
With the original sales receipt, I attempted to return a Torino Belt that was was purchased on June 11, 2008 at the full retail price of $425 plus tax at the Beverly Hills Saks Fifth Avenue store. The belt was never worn and was in salable condition. The Department Manager denied the return stating that too much time had elapsed for a merchandise return.
The Saks Fifth Avenue original receipt dated June 11, 2008 states: "At Saks Fifth Avenue, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. We will gladly exchange, replace, or credit your purchase when it is presented to any Sales Associate in saleable condition at any one of our stores. Merchandise presented after 60 days will be credited based on the current selling price." The Saks Fifth Avenue website today states: "At Saks Fifth Avenue, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange, replace, or credit your purchase when it is presented in saleable condition. Full-priced merchandise, with the exception of watches and jewelry, presented after 30 days will be credited based on the current selling price." The identical Torino belt was being sold at the Beverly Hills Saks Fifth Avenue store today for $425.
I was not demanding a refund but was expected a store credit. The Beverly Hills Saks Fifth Avenue Men's Store has clearly violated the published Corporate Returns and Exchanges policy.
Rude SA in designer handbag dept. My friend found a handbag she liked but the price tag was gone. So we asked the SA to help us check the price. While she walked to the computer to check it, I found the price tag and tried to tell her about it. She didn't take a look but kept on saying: "No NO, that's not it. I know that's not it." I was a little bit bothered by her attitude but waited in patience while she browsing through the computer system. She couldn't find it there so she started flipping through the catalog. When I saw her skip the page of the exact handbag I tried to tell her about it. She snapped and started yelling at me:"I know what I'm doing, I know what I'm doing, okay?!!" I was shocked. Never in my life had I seen a SA yelled at customers. Absolutely terrible experience. Saks has a good reputation in both selection and service. Reading all the previous comments made me believe many SAs are making efforts to maintain this reputation. However a single incident like this is significant enough to damage the brand. I hope saks can employ someone more professional to represent them.
Best Bridal Salon in Los Angeles. After dreading the whole dress shopping experience as long as I possibly could, I was off to find the perfect dress for my June wedding. After visiting another big name salon earlier in the day (Monique Lhuillier) where I was made to feel like a naughty child for waiting so long to shop, I was welcomed into the most amazing shopping experience ever at Saks Fifth Avenue. The manager David, was soothing and assuring that here in this incredibly gorgeous space that I was sure to be guided by his amazing staff to the dress of my dreams. Not only did the gracious sales woman, Karen, indulge me by letting me try on anything I wanted, she then guided me to beautiful dresses that could be made in my short time frame. I was never made to feel rushed or pressured into anything, but felt comfortable enough to make a quick decision on a gorgeous Amsale gown that was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. The sales woman also let me in on all the money saving tips that Saks offered. I was able to save 10% by opening a Saks account, no tax to ship to Hawaii, and free alterations with their gift card events. I've only bought cosmetics in this store with a luke warm reception, but here in the Bridal Suite I truly felt like a VIP customer even though I was on a budget. I would highly recommend this salon for every bride-to-be!
Absolutely awful service.
if you are looking for your wedding dress, don't bother with the bridal salon at Saks in BH. the rudest service. the saleslady (she may be french) was absolutely rude and was annoyed she even had to speak to us. even though they had the dress i wanted, i choose to purchase it somewhere else.
i'll make sure to tell anyone else looking for a dress to go elsewhere too.
Saks is a store that I always go back to. Michelle a personal shopper is miraculous and will find amazing things for your body type.
I go there in the fall and spring to buy outfits for the year. I never go to smaller stores anymore because you can't return for cash or cc refund if you are unhappy with selections.
I once told a staff person in shoes that I was taking a shoe downstairs to match a Wolford top. . He said please don't worry only celebs steal things here. A very funny staff. I pay little attention to those that complain, remember staff does not make alot of money working there and it's a difficult job at best. Maybe to those who complain, get a life.
A New York pioneer ventures across the country with designer standards..
Saks is the retail hub for classics like Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren, Prada and Badgley Mischka. This department store gets props for its petite and Salon Z (sizes 14-24) women's collections, as well as great selection for the little ones. Each department is a boutique to itself, boasting well-trained clerks who not only sell the good life--they set the example.
Attentive and Knowledgeable Staff, Great Selection!.
I went to Saks for my wedding gown and was helped by Amelia, the most patient and knowledgeable salesperson I've encountered in any bridal salon (and I've been to quite a few!) The salon is gorgeous -- spacious and luxurious, with a selection of some of the most exquisite gowns on the market. You truly feel special and pampered here. The appointments ensure that there are only a few people in the salon at a time so that you get the salesperson's undivided attention. And surprisingly, it's actually possible to get a reasonably priced gown here -- especially if you open a Saks card.
If you go, the best person to make your appointment with is Amelia. She has an unbelievable eye for what will look good on you, and once she sees what you like she will emerge from the back room with one perfect gown after another. She takes as much time as you need and never makes you feel rushed. Amelia is a real expert and a pro, and she made my experience at Saks truly wonderful. I'm sending all of my newly engaged friends to her!
