Billy Idol Editorial Review

In Short
In his prime, Billy Idol--with his sexy videos and string of hits--represented everything punk rockers hated about pop success. His new wave-metal synthesis seemed unlikely to register much of anything, until MTV-ready tracks like "Rebel Yell," "White Wedding" and "Dancing with Myself" found him fame beyond his punk-rock roots. His 2001 greatest hits album offers fans vital Idol, including a cheeky cover of Simple Minds' "Don't You (Forget About Me)."

4 Star Rating: Recommended

He did stoop to that later but he was long out of the mix by then. When you end up with the 3 women singing "Ooooo lala Ooooo" then yeah you arent doing too well. You need to get the Greatest album and listen to each song for at least 1 minute. You will see the good stuff. But I would kill to see this guy in concert. He did songs such as "Dancing with myself" and several other hits. He is pretty good. Thats why his GREATEST HITS went PLATINUM!! Makes sense right?
