Patio tables sit on a triangle of Malibu Beach and invite patrons to dig their feet in the sand while sipping a drink and watching the sunset. Great bar experience

Lazy afternoons at the Barefoot Bar are my favorite part of spring. Since they changed the glass enclosure around the outdoor bar it's much more pleasant but we still prefer the bar indoors. Whether we're there to watch a game on tv or the dolphins outside, we always have a great time.
Nothing beats the tuna poke rolls but the crab wontons are great, too. Their mai tais are the best but it's still fun to explore the rest of the drink menu.
- Pros: Drinks, ocean view, relaxed atmosphere
- Cons: can be crowded in summer

Duke's Barefoot Bar is a great place to go if you want a quick burger or a long delicious dinner by the water. My family and I recently had a great experience there over the holidays. I will definitly go back. Great staff, great food, amazing view.
- Pros: food, service
- Cons: long lines for patio seating

The valet lot will set you back a few bucks. If you'd rather parlay that into another mai tai, try finding a spot on the ocean side of PCH instead.
The Extras:
Too chilly? Head to the secluded third bar inside the restaurant. All three offer awesome views.
Happy Hour:
Visit weekdays between 4pm and 6pm for half-off deals on the bar menu. Drinks are regularly priced.
