A Guilt-Free Delight!!!!!. This is my favorite vegetarian restaurant! You have to try the bowl of Greens! It is so delicious my mouth is salivating as I write this review!!!!!!!!! :) Aside from the food, and decor is fun and it's within walking distance to the beach but the indoor sitting is small and the service has always been bad (the waiters never smile) but the last time I went there (a few weeks ago), the service was remarkably good! The waiter was very friendly and SMILY and our food came out very fast! I think all of the bad reviews about their service might have reached management because I really noticed a difference in their attitude!

Too cool for customers. Very good food. Stuck up service and usually very slow. Fair prices. Closed at 4 pm really means 3:30 pm but you should know that cause they gotta eat lunch too! (that's what we were told). Have actually left before without service because we were ignored for so long. Watched the waiter bus tables instead of servicing us (the place was empty).

Close to heaven!. So, I'm going here tonight, and I'm just so excited! I love the veggie fair, it's healthy, it's super tasty, and really creative. The staff is friendly. And you feel really good about what you are eating! The Sproutata is one of my favs. I love the tahini dressing! The local is great too! Just steps from the beach and charming Riviera Village. Portions are generous, and the prices are great too. I just feel so relaxed whenever I walk in! While I do eat meat, I don't eat wheat or dairy, which makes this place a double blessing! Heaven on earth? It's close.

Best Vegetarian Joint so far!. First let me say this- I'm a MEAT LOVER! I can't do without some good old fashioned meat. But somehow, the Green Temple makes me forget that it's strictly vegetarian and that I am eating tofu all the way. The White Lasagna is the BEST dish here. The veggie meatloaf is a close second. The salad dressing is so fresh. The Green Temple breaks the vegetarian tasteless food mold. It's SO tasty, affordable and makes you want to come back for more! Even if it is just vegetarian! What a delight!

Not the right restaurant for me. Service was frinedly, but I hated the food. It was so heavy and I think that tofu sauce is absolutely disgusting. My girlfriend and I only had 1 bite, and they wouldn't give us any refund. Also, the menu is very limited and it might be ard to find something that you would like. I would definatley not reccomend this place although some people do love it.

Food is VERY Heavy and not very tasty

Simple vegetarian cuisine in a groovy, hippie-chic cafe.. In Short
Philosophical discussions of Kafka hum at this vegetarian cafe run by neo-hippie goddesses. The decor is pure college dorm room, with oriental rugs splayed on the floor and Indian saris hanging by clothespins. There's even a bongo drum if one is so inclined. The bowl o' green is filled with brown rice, beans, collard and mustard greens, topped with the tofu-based house special sauce. Mexican-inspired dishes like enchiladas are stuffed with tempeh rather than traditional fillings.

Slice of Heaven. We drive 40 miles one way to eat here. Thats how good the food is.

The soups are fabulous. The peanut butter tofu pie is to die for.

He eats the Blue Plate. I eat the White Lasagna.

We both crave Green Temple.

Go. Eat. Live.

Great Food. I recently celebrated my birthday here and I had a wonderful experience. I brought along my all-Carniverous family and they loved it as well. I have had many dishes here: nachos, white lasagna, enchiladas, steamed veggie bowl, wraps, salads, and soups...all delicious. The green iced tea with honey is delicious. Go here now! =)

EXCELLENT!!. It's initially hard to find because it's tucked away in a corner, but once you find the green temple, it's noticably unique. The servers come to you right away and answer any questions you have. I love their "a la carte" menu for a small 1/2 portion lunch.

Their avocado sandwich, nachos, and fresh squeezed juices are delish. At the green temple, i can glance around at the beautiful decor and eat equally delicious food.
