The downtown do-it-yourself spot for budding Martha Stewarts..
In Short
The flower market is your backstage pass to the floral industry. This is where florists get the goods--vibrant pink gerberas, demure yellow freesia, exotic red ginger blossoms--at wholesale prices. The vendors inside the block-long, indoor warehouse are mostly families who hail from as far as Carpinteria. At shops such as the Floral Supply Syndicate, you'll find gorgeous vases, ribbons, candles and everything else you need to complete your arrangements at insanely low prices.

Amazing.
This place was amazing. There were flowers everywhere. I got there around 5:45 am so I was able to find street parking and have my pick of flowers. I get about 6 dozen flowers for $35 and they were beautiful flowers.
Get there early. By 7:30 am the place was crowed, no street parking and the flowers weren't looking as fresh as they were at 6 am.
