The Scene – You'll find this small motel crowned by swaying palm trees and a funky, beautifully restored neon sign reminiscent of Southern California in the late '60s and early '70s. It also captures the mood of a bygone era, when the typical roadside American motor lodge offered clean rooms, great prices and personality and style to boot. – – The Details – Guest rooms are outfitted in colorful fabrics with large beds and front doors overlooking the pleasant sundeck and pool area, which the motel shares with its sister hotel, the lesser-known Anabelle Hotel. 3 * HOTEL IN BURBANK
by PAARVA
I would never come back again. The breakfast was awful. The rooms were so small and depresing . It is like a motel. At night I could not sleep at all, you could here everyboday walking and talking outside, even my next door room-you can here the flush in the bathroom in your room next to you.I only was amazed with one thing, one day I forgot my gold(worth 2000 dollars) on the table in the room, 4 pieces, when I came back they've cleaned the room but still there. If you consider this hotel as a 3* hotel is okay to get here.
Two thumbs down.

Pets are not allowed to stay unattended, without a muzzle and 200 dollar non-refundable deposit.
Continental breakfast is tiny bagels and tiny muffins.
No public bathroom either in lobby or by the pool.
No management on duty EVER on weekends to help with problems.
I will not recommend this to anyone whom cares about their pets.
Nowhere is this listed on their website.
Sunday morning, we got up early to take advantage of the continental breakfast in the lobby; when we went in, we were snubbed, not acknowledged in any way by the staff, yet people kept coming in to check out early or come in early; all were warmly greeted.
The continental breakfast for Sunday morning consisted of tiny muffins, the smallest bagels I've ever seen and a toaster for guests to toast them. There were two pitchers of orange juice and two pots of coffee.
Also, downstairs where the laundry/ice machines/soft drink machines and such are, the soft drink machine was out of service. Maybe keeping extra supplies on hand in the lobby for purchase?
- Pros: If you need a roof for the night
- Cons: No management on hand, pets cannot stay alone unless they are muzzled and a non-refundable $200 paid.
Okay stay
by johnnydrema
I read the other reviews before we stayed and was l little scared but it wasn't to bad. Our airconditioner did have a funny smell but they replaced it within 15 minutes after we complained. Rooms are average and kind of small, carpet was dirty and the chair in our room was stained with something but the beds were clean. Pool was nice and heated. We were not in the room much so it wasn't to bad. the breakfast was not much, but we still had a good time. There is no microwave int he room. I probally would not stay here again. The staff however was wonderful. They always were saying hi or goodmorning,or evening as you passed them. I guess this is a good hotel is you are on a budget.
