Cool Retro Hotel. The Safari is one of your best bets for lodging in Burbank. It's very 1950s in everything from the room decor to the brightly lit neon sign to the pool area. In fact, it's used in a lot of period piece movies, as well as films/tv shows going for a nostalgic feel. I feel that the prices should come down a notch or two (I don't see that it's worth more than $100 per night), but it is a clean and comfortable place to stay for just about anyone.

Best in the area!!!. We recently stayed at the Safari and were impressed. The room was extremely clean and had tons of amenities, ie. hairdryer, fridge, coffeemaker w/ coffee, room service, that most motels don't have. Great sign and pool.
