A low-key business hotel inland from Pasadena.. The Scene
A whitewashed, four-story, somewhat Colonial-looking façade sets the non-urban tone at this standard business hotel. With its out-of-the-way location, inland from Pasadena, it caters mainly to budget-minded businesspeople who need easy access to area freeways and a comfortable place to stay.

The Details
The rooms' best features are their work stations, while the inviting, cozy lobby offers seating areas around a fireplace. Nearby Pasadena is pleasant for an evening of dinner and a movie, and while the hotel may seem removed from the best of L.A., it's actually near some of the city's most interesting attractions, such as the Arboretum and horse racing at Santa Anita. Both are great places to unwind during breaks from meetings.
