It Was Sooo Fun!

I liked the club. The night started off a little slow but it picked up as the night went on. Everybody danced, there was no fighting, the music was good, the drinks were not watered down. I liked it because it was a bunch of people there who wanted to have fun and they didn't act stuck up like the people at the Hollywood lounges. I would go back.

STAY AWAY!

never ever go to Monte Cristo, this place is terrible! It felt like i was at a high school party: people standing around and watching what everyone else is up to. Men are animals! You can't walk anywhere without a guy trying to harass you. People hype this place up too much on promos, its all a facade. Please stay the hell away from this TRASHY club! its not worth you time, effort , and definitely NOT your money!

It was Straight------

I think it was somewhere to go last minute(which was why i was there). It just was kinda funky in there. Plus men act like when you got a$$ they need to grab it. Not in the least. They was like wild animals. Not something i want to go to for excitement but last minute purposes only. Sh!t maybe not even that. I would stay home first. The rails was all squeaky and people had the nerve to want to hold on and dance on them. Not my cup of tea!!

Best Hidden Spot in LA

Wow!!!.... This place was amazing!!... A good friend recomended me going on Saturday nights for great drinks and great dancing (He went for an E40 concert and said it was jumping). The drinks were really strong and the bartender was really nice and mixed me different speciality cokctails.He told me that club just went through a huge revovation and its beautiful inside. Itas all plush velour and has tons of mirrors on the ceiling of the dance floor. The outside patio was huge and had really nice white cabanas and couches and tables in them. There was also an outside bar and I was told on Fridays there is a dj out there as well. We were able to go in the VIP room (which is gorgeaous with huge couches and and really interesting decor) and had great cocktail service. The night we went there was the Players Ball and there was tons of celebs like ICE T and some of the Jacksons (A guy friend also pointed out that he recognized some Play Mates there) . The music was great and theres a live broadcat from KDAY every week. We danced all night and had a great time.... also a big plus was the valet parking, which makes it really easy to park, since downtowns usually a nightmare for that. Defintley recomend this spot!!!!!!

the WORST piece of trash to be in on a Saturday Night --Don't Goooo!!!

This place was HORRIBLE!!!! for a lack of a better word. As soon as my girlfriend and i got out of the car, we knew for sure that this was a mistake. Old men and overweight women began to gawk at us as if WE were the ones with no sense! The staff was nonresponsive and perverted as well ( this one hispanic old man in his forties--i guess he was the bouncer or something--made a lewd comment on my friend when she asked him for directions and construed it to a metaphor involving sex--ewww!). As soon as you step in the club you see black and white trash prostitutes and their pimps EVERWHERE! My goodness gracious-- my girlfriends and I literally hurdled to a corner to try to dissapear from the scene cause discusting old men would ponder about wanting to dance. We refused to be a part of the freak fest. There was some weird phenomena going on in a back room which involved the same ol' pimps and coke dirty looking half way through their birthday suits women. Oh and pretty ladies beware when you step into the two stall closet they call a restroom cause apparently the night walkers recruit and will comment on how much "potential" you have to become one of them. This is one of those places that makes you want to run to a nearby catholic church to wash your whole body with holy water--you just feel dirty just being a part of the atmosphere.
