The best steakhouse in Los Angeles, and you better have a deep wallet because everything is pricey. Make sure you get the seafood tower and the lobster mac and cheese.

Good But Not Great Food Expensive. More expensive than Spago, plan on $100-$150 per person. We spent $80 for each entree and $10 bottle of water that I poured myself. Ordered a well done steak the middle was bloody rare, unbelievable. You really have to question the quality of a steakhouse that can't cook a well done steak. Mortons can cook a huge Porterhouse steak well done, but these people can't do a 16oz New York steak well done. I ordered the potatoes au gratin $12 I got a pan of very thick cut potatoes that tasted dried out burned with not enough cheese, disgusting. The waitress was friendly, prompt but she hovered too much. It was like she was watching me I started to feel self-conscious. The ambiance was amazing, exactly the picture of a high class restaurant. Definitely go to the upstairs dining room the downstairs is not as good. The crowd is dressed up. If they make a mistake on the food, you should request a change, I just didn't want to bother with it after eating the dried out potatoes. This is the kind of place you should go once just to see what it's about and then probably never go again.

best steak house I ever been.
Mastro's Steakhouse is one of the best in Beverly hills,
it is very expensive but it worth the money you spend

Best steakhouse ever!. One of the best restaurants me and my hubby have been to. Definitely worth 5 stars. The ambiance is just marvelous. Definitely a great date place to celebrate anniversaries. The steaks are really deliciously grilled and the desserts are also good. But all these does not come cheap so if you plan on going, better be prepared and bring in some of that hard-earned cash! Though for me it is really worth it!:)

Five star food. Five star service. Five star restaurant..
I don't give five star ratings easily and this is my first so I'll try my best to convey why I feel Mastro's deserves five stars.
Mastro's restaurant is of top quality and serves excellent food--not just the steak but everything. It is an ideal place for an intimate dinner as well as a private party (they are equipped for that with private rooms/areas). I have found the service to be beyond reproach and the selection of wines.
I always try to reserve a secluded table not in the middle of the restaurant, and preferably upstairs by the windo, which makes a difference in terms of ambiance IMO. The d

Every time it has been a great experience.
Prices are a bit steep, but got to pay to play.
