Q's is the kind of pool hall where how you look while shooting pool matters more than whether or not you actually make the shot. For the best view of the dark wood island bar where UCLA hotties pretend to watch ESPN while checking each other out, ask for one of the seven tables on the first floor. Or, escape the pool tables and create some of your own action in the intimate upstairs rooms that are tastefully decorated with pressed-tin and velvet.

BEWARE - Q'S WILL STEAL YOUR CC NUMBER!! When drinking there a few nights ago and gave my credit card to the bar tender. When I closed the tab, the card was returned. During the time my CC was at Q's, one of their employee's copied the CC number and charged it to the limit purchasing phone cards online. I wasn't aware of this until my next purchase on the card was declined. When I contacted Q's, they didn't give a sh*t that my credit information was stolen by one of their employees. The Q's employee I spoke with was patronizing and said her manager would call back. The Manager never did. So if you go to Q's. PAY CASH!!!! only.

As long as there isn't a popular sporting event on, Qs is a great place to play some pool and enjoy a good happy hour. It is a good place to watch the game, but you better get there early if you don't want to stand the whole time. The food is good, but a little pricey if you aren't there for happy hour. Sundays are the best because pool is free as long as your are eating or drinking.
Pros: pool, happy hour
Cons: parking, crowded during games
