The Draw
A Chinatown restaurant seems the least likely place to have a hip-hop club, let alone a really good one. But that's exactly the case at Firecracker. Every other Friday, the upstairs of Quon Bros. is packed as DJs spin furious sets of hip-hop, house and jungle, while breakers look for space to have gravity-defying dance-floor battles. Exhausted from all the dancing? Escape the hot and sweaty upstairs, and chill in the downstairs cocktail bar that swings to the beat of a cool, lounge jazz band. Grab one of the coveted, red leather booths, sit back and soak up the funky environment.
The Regulars
A racially and culturally diverse crowd--from Westside hip-hop heads to Mid-city hipsters to Silver Lake scenesters. Downstairs is a totally different scene with a mix of young people and old-timers who probably don't realize it's hip-hop night.

Brit opnion is..
As a relatively newcomer to clubs in LA (I'm from London) this one is a good one to start at. The night I went was the 4th birthday party so a little different I'm sure from regular nights. The queues for the bar and toilets were INSANE!! The crowd was friendly although a little to hip and beautiful for my liking (what can i say I am jealous?) However, it was a really good night. I'd go again.
