not extroadinary good food, big portions, terrible service, never bad experience, not best place, amazing variety, not good atmosphere
Great Place!. Happy hour here is the best! I love coming here after work and spending some time with my friends. Great environment.
Good Service. Thought it would be just another ordinary restaurant, but I was pretty surprised how pleasing the food was.
Bar!. Really great value and a well put together menu!I really Loved it Happy hour from 9- to close is amazing!
average at its best.
after getting the table, had to wait 15 minutes to put the orders. The waitress disappeared for ten minutes in the middle of taking orders. One appetizer order was wrong; there were no plates to eat appetizers, no napkins - we had to constantly ask for napkins. The food was average - to be just kind - lamb was dry, with no spices; salmon was half-cooked; pork ribs were all fat; two margaritas had no alcohol.
We paid cash, the waitress 'forgot" to give us the receipt.
Overall dull atmosphere, poor service.
Great food and service!. I went to the Elephant Bar Restaurant for a friends birthday. We were a huge party but our waiter knew how to handle it extremely well! He was able to keep a conversation with all of us and made us laugh. When we received our meal and I got the NY steak sandwich and it was finger lickin' gooood! The drinks were just simply lovely. The whole experience was great and I will be returning there!
Eccentric Entrees. Elephant Bar was okay...I mostly enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant with its wildlife theme and decorum. The menu was too much...every entree was over the top...it was very hard for me to order something semi-basic. But I definitely enjoyed the environment. Good place for seafood.
Average franchise food, average price, good service. The ambiance is good, but the food is definitely average. They have the standard fare and nothing exciting. The service is good. It reminds me of the Rainforest Cafe without the sound effects. I would never suggest going here for an adventure.
They must make their money on the drinks.... The variety and quality of entrees is amazing. We've been over a dozen times and never had a bad meal. They revamp their menu every so often and we miss their Caribbean Pot-Roast which was incredible. Then again so is just about everything else so we'll get over it. The prices are lower than Denny's which makes me think they make their money at the bar, though the restaurant is very family friendly and noisy enough to bring the kids without worry. It is popular and there can be a thirty minute wait if you see people milling outside.
Great place for large groups-BIG MAN PORTIONS-Prompt service.
Just forty-five minutes between seatin' and eatin' , that's all it took. The Kona Ribs could've used a more imaginative sauce or maybe a rub, but the genorous portion-I shared three of the tender jewels with a buddy and I still had trouble finishing-and a few hits of hot sauce more than made up for it.
As far as service goes, put it like this-they brought me lots of good food, quickly. I didn't notice if they were smiling or frowning and could've cared less. A question to all those people who go to restaraunts
